Rewriting Fate with My Apex War Goddess (by Ezekiel Valor) novel Chapter 681

Chapter 681 A Battle Against Impossible Odds

Steven dumped his entire supply of level 6 beast meat onto the ground.

No one from Polaris or Soulreaver needed to be told what to do. They rushed forward, grabbed the meat, and started eating.

Their wounds began healing at an incredible speed.

The others quickly caught on and did the same.

Darby’s eyes turned cold.

That brat knows how to use beast meat to heal injuries! Damn it! Now I’m even more determined to kill him.

Darby sneered, “You four really think you can take us on? What makes you think you stand a chance, Alan?”

Alan’s voice was ice-cold. “That’s not for you to decide. You and I have some old scores to settle.”

Darby scoffed.

“You’re not worthy of being my opponent. The one I want to kill is him!”

His gaze locked onto Steven.

The next second, a terrifying pressure erupted from Alan.

Aether Wind Seal! Full activation!

His five Divine Sigils glowed black and crimson, giving off an eerie light.

At that moment, Alan was no longer merely S-rank. He had pushed himself into SS-rank territory.

He had broken past his own limits.

Black lightning crackled around his body as wind and thunder exploded outward.

Steven unleashed everything as well.

“Logan!” he shouted. “Protect Bianca!”

Logan’s eyes hardened. “Got it! If they want to hurt her, they’ll have to go through me first!”

Bianca didn’t hesitate. Golden light burst from her body and flooded the battlefield.

Flames filled the sky.

At the same time, somewhere deep inside Heavenspire Peak, a broken fragment of the Ember Sacred Sword trembled slightly.

Darby roared, “Temptress! Take Alan down! Thousand Shadows! Take one man with you and deal with the other two! I’ll tear that kid apart myself! The rest of you, control the beasts! Break through the Eightfold Domain! Don’t give them a chance to recover!”

“Yes, my lord!”

Power surged across the battlefield.

Steven charged first.

Alan shot forward right behind him.

Bianca and Logan shouted and rushed into battle as well.

And just like that, Ashen entered a battle of their own.

The survivors on the ground stared at them in disbelief.

How could they do this? They didn’t have a single Divine King among them. Yet they were charging straight at a group filled with Divine Kings.

Darby alone was more than they should have been able to handle.

Maybe Steven could hold his own for a while. But what about the others?

Alan might be a monster in his own right, but he was still only a Divine General. Could a Divine General really take on a Divine King?
