Chapter 710 Are We Gonna Die?
Hudson stared at the beam of energy about to erupt.
Every hair on his body stood on end.
At this point, he couldn’t hold anything back.
He couldn’t die here. The Ember Sacred Sword was right in front of him.
At last, he completely unleashed the power of his seven–sigil cultivation,
Overwhelming pressure erupted.
The beam fired at the same instant.
Hudson unleashed his full strength and met the Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang’s attack head–on.
But the very next second, he froze..
The moment the Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang’s attack touched his power, it fell apart.
It vanished instantly, like snow melting in the rain.
It was no more threatening than a feather brushing against him.
Hudson stared blankly for a moment before realizing what had happened.
Then his fury exploded.
“You tricked me!”
Steven ignored him.
A sonic boom cracked through the air.
He dropped toward the ground, and the Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang descended with him.
Hudson completely lost it.
Just like that, he’d been baited into exposing himself.

He’d hidden his strength for so long and had been so close to succeeding, only for Steven to bluff him into revealing his full aura.
“Ahhh! You fucking bastard!
“Damn you! Damn you! You little shit! I’m going to fucking kill you!”
He was practically mad with rage.
The people outside would find him now.

Steven sighed inwardly. He could only hope it had worked.
This was the only plan he’d been able to come up with.
The Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang was powerful, but its strength was only comparable to Steven’s own. It couldn’t truly fight a Divine Lord and might only have bought them a little more time.
So instead, Steven had concentrated everything into sheer presence and intimidation.
He’d unleashed an attack that looked far more dangerous than it really was.
Tactically, it had worked.
The only question was whether Alan’s reinforcements could reach them in time now that Hudson had exposed himself.
They had truly reached their limit.
They didn’t have the strength to endure another attack.
Steven and the others regrouped.
The Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang landed and shielded them beneath its body.
Steven glanced at Alan. “That’s it. I’ve got nothing left.”
Alan’s expression was complicated.
“Maybe we’ll get a miracle.”
Hudson raged in the sky.
“You little bastard! Die!”
He threw a punch downward, slamming it into the Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang’s head.
Boom!
The Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang barely managed to block the blow before turning into a streak of crimson light and returning to Steven’s body.
Hudson roared like a madman.
“You’re all gonna die!”
He knew he was out of time.
Another punch came crashing down.
This time, all anyone could do was wait for death.
Everyone’s composure finally broke.

Chapter 710 Are We Gonna Die?
A full–strength punch from a Divine Lord would reduce them to pulp in an instant.
Despair settled over everyone.
Is there really no hope?
Are they actually gonna die here?
It was hard to accept.
Steven held Bianca tightly.
No. We won’t die like this.
This isn’t how history is supposed to unfold. There has to be another way!
Just as everyone silently prayed for a miracle, a panicked voice suddenly rang out.
“No! Don’t kill me! Director Toot, don’t kill me! I’ll join you!”
Everyone froze.
Behind them, beast energy surged from Kenneth’s Divine Sigil.
Kenneth was desperately trying to flee.
Everyone stared at him in disbelief.
His teammates were even more stunned.
“Captain!”
The remaining four teammates were speechless.
Our captain surrendered at the brink of death? He actually chose to join the God Eaters?
What a disgrace!
Kenneth looked frantic.
I can’t die like this.
I’m an SSS–rank Awakened with limitless potential. How can I die now?
Even if I become one of the God Eaters, I’ll still have a chance to accomplish great things. I can’t die!
“Director Toot! I’m willing to join you!”
Kenneth’s sudden declaration really did make Hudson pause for a moment.
A cold light flashed in Steven’s eyes.
