Chapter 114 The Lucky Breach
Baron’s POV

After a bit of playful squabbling, Sean finally grew tired of the secret and came out with Susie’s hidden talent.
I froze. “You can code? You’re telling me you’re a little hacker?”
I looked down at the tiny girl who wasn’t even as tall as my thigh, and for a moment, I actually doubted reality.
My mind raced through the possibilities. Was this some kind of genetic mutation? How could I have possibly ended up with two children this sharp?
Susie pouted at my skeptical look, “I didn’t say I could code, Daddy. I just… I found the tablet and searched about her. Mom told me her secret name once.”
She scrambled toward the sofa and pulled out a rugged, black tablet I recognized instantly.
It was a high–level encrypted device used by my pack’s cybersecurity team but before I could ask how she’d gotten it, she was already tapping on the screen.
“See? I was playing with it and I searched for Mom’s name… and then I saw everything,” she whispered, her eyes wide.
I watched, unblinking, as she navigated a saved session.
Apparently, she had stumbled onto an active connection Patrick had left open and, with the terrifying luck of a child, managed to stay logged into Jensen’s corporate system without getting flagged.
My lips curled into a slow, predatory grin. It wasn’t genius coding, but it was the most random coincidences I’d ever seen.
“Susie, do Daddy a favor.”
“Okay.”
“Hold that screen right there. Don’t touch anything else.”
From what I could see, she had accidentally wandered into the Nightfang’s internal data for the upcoming pack meeting.
Before, I hadn’t minded waiting for Natalie to take her revenge herself but now, seeing my daughter having the pack’s secrets, I saw no reason not to strike a blow.
Just as I was about to call my team, the study door creaked open. Patrick, my lead hacker, wandered in.
He was staring at another tablet in his hand, his brow furrowed in confusion.
“Alpha Baron, sorry to interrupt, but I was tracking a missing tablet from my field unit. It’s been active in the villa for the last hour and-” He froze mid–step.
Then slowly… painfully… his gaze dropped to Susie.
Then to the tablet.
Then back to me.

Having his pack’s security data, finances and even his personal details is a big win for me.
Shawn quickly sat down, taking the tablet from Susie’s small hands. His fingers blurred across the screen. “She stayed in the session for forty minutes without triggering a security reset… that’s statistically impossible,” he muttered, sounding both terrified and impressed.
“Less talking, more leaking.” I barked.
“Daddy, is it done?” Susie asked, watching Patrick’s screen with intense curiosity.
“Almost, princess,” I said.
Patrick’s fingers moved faster now, abandoning caution for urgency,
“Firewall’s reacting.” he muttered.
“They’re running passive checks… if this escalates”
“It won’t,” I cut in.
Because if it didn
