Chapter 177 So It Was You
Chapter 177 So It Was You
Sharon’s POV
How did this happen?
My plan had been flawless.
Natalie was supposed to be the one on this floor, her reputation shattered.
Instead, I was the one being ruined by a beggar.
Then, Hansel appeared.
“Alpha Jensen, I’ve brought her.”
He shoved the barista into the center of the lounge.
Jensen didn’t even hesitate.

The rage radiating from him was a physical weight that made the air in the lounge vibrate.
He lashed out with a vicious kick, his heavy boot connecting with the barista’s chest with a sickening thud.
“Talk!” Jensen roared, his voice more beast than man. “Who told you to drug the coffee?”
I watched, paralyzed, as the woman went flying.
She hit a table, her body trembling midair before she slammed into the floor.
The reporters were still there but Jensen didn’t care.
Panic clawed at my throat.
‘Johnson,’ I thought. ‘Say Johnson… Don’t you dare mention my name.’
The memory of my last phone call flashed through my mind.
When I had tried to reach Dr. Johnson just before entering the cafe, the line was dead.
Then, a message had flashed across the web – a report of a wolf accident at a high–speed intersection.
Johnson was dead.
I knew then that I was alone.
When the barista hit the ground, she spat a mouthful of blood.
The barista was shaking violently, her eyes darting toward me for a fraction of a second.
Isaw the moment she realized Johnson wasn’t coming to save her
I had to stop this.

“Jensen,” I gasped, my voice trembling as I tried to sound like the victim I was supposed to be. “Please, she’s just a servant. Let’s take her back to the Pack house and question her there. It’s too… it’s too public here.”
Jensen turned his head.
The look he gave me silenced the words in my throat.
The barista broke.
She dissolved into ugly tears, her forehead pressed against the blood–stained carpet.
“Alpha Jensen, I was forced! It wasn’t my fault! I didn’t want to do it!”
“Then say it,” Jensen hissed, leaning over her. “Who made you do it? Who gave you the powder?”
The woman’s gaze snapped to me, wide and full of despair.
I felt the walls closing in.
“It was the doctor!” she shrieked. “Dr. Johnson! He called me and ordered me to set up the meeting. He said the Alpha and the Keeper had to lose control!”
Jensen paused, his brow furrowed.
“Johnson? Who is that?”
