Hansel remained near the office doors in complete silence, his posture carefully lowered.

Even he could feel the unstable pressure rolling off my body in violent waves.

I didn’t turn around.

The mention of Sharon’s name instantly filled me with disgust so sharp my jaw locked.

I closed my eyes briefly.
