Chapter 208
Evelyn
The warm afternoon sunlight filtered through the thin curtains, casting dappled shadows across the floor of the master bedroom. Devon and I lay tangled in the rumpled sheets, our bodies still entwined after last night’s passion had plunged us both into a deep, satisfying sleep.
“Knock knock knock! Devon! Evelyn! Are you guys still sleeping?”
Aiden’s urgent knocking shattered the peaceful silence of the room. I groggily opened my eyes to find Devon’s arm still firmly wrapped around my waist.
“Damn it,” Devon cursed under his breath, quickly sitting up with his hair sticking out in all directions like a bird’s nest. He frantically searched the floor, scanning for something. “Where the hell are my pants?”
I couldn’t help but giggle, pointing to the black trousers kicked to the foot of the bed. Devon shot me a grateful look before quickly pulling them on and walking toward the door, trying to smooth down his unruly hair.
“Coming, coming!” Devon opened the door, using his body to block Aiden’s view into the room.
But Aiden still managed to peek past him, his sharp eyes taking in the sight of my dress hanging over the chair, Devon’s shirt scattered on the carpet, and the sheets crumpled like waves on the bed–not to mention one pillow that had somehow ended up on the floor.
“Wow,” Aiden raised an eyebrow, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. “Did your room get burglarized last night, or was it some kind of natural
disaster?”
Devon’s face flushed slightly as he unconsciously ran his hand through his hair again. “Ahem, what’s up?”
“We’re planning to go hunting and wanted to know if you two wanted to join,” Aiden deliberately craned his neck to look further into the room. “But judging by your ‘workout‘ last night, you might need some more rest?”
“We’ll be down shortly,” Devon said, clearly embarrassed. “You guys go ahead and prepare the gear.”
“Sure thing, but don’t keep us waiting too long, Aiden winked. “And make sure to replenish your energy before joining us.”
Devon shut the door and turned to face me, still bundled under the covers with only my head poking out, gazing at him with sleepy eyes.
“Baby, it’s time to get up,” Devon returned to the bed, gently stroking my cheek. “Our friends are waiting.”
“Mmm…five more minutes,” I mumbled drowsily, burrowing deeper into the blankets.
Devon chuckled, pressing a kiss to my forehead. “I have ways to wake you up properly.”
His hand started tracing the outline of my body over the blanket, his eyes reflecting last night’s unfinished desire.
“No!” I shook my head vigorously, my cheeks burning. “We can’t keep our friends waiting too long.”
“Fine, Devon conceded with a smile. “Then let’s get up quickly.”
As
sat up, I winced at the unfamiliar ache in my pussy–sore and stretched from last night’s intensity.

Chapter 208
‘Devon,‘ I said hesitantly, feeling slightly embarrassed. “Can I ask you something?”
“What is it?‘ He looked concerned, noticing my discomfort.
“Even with my wolf’s healing powers restoring my strength after shifting,‘ I bit my lip, flushing. “My pussy still hurts. Is that normal?
He paused, a hint of pride in his eyes. “We were pretty…intense last night.”
My blush deepened. ‘Will it stay like this?”
“Of course not, Devon said tenderly. “Let me help you.”
