Chapter 237

Diana was left speechless after hearing Jett’s words. This kid from the Kingsley family really has a screw loose, she thought.

She never expected that the drug was actually meant for Alicia.

It was Nicole’s so-called cleverness-insisting on handling things herself-that ended up making her son unable to have children.

No wonder Alicia said the drug was targeted at women.

Nicole kept making excuses, but in the end, she was still the one calling the shots.

That just made her resent Nicole even more.

After a moment’s thought, she finally told the two of them about the aftereffects the drug had on her son.

“You two, contact the person who made this drug and get him to treat Nicolas,” she demanded.

“If you don’t, I promise you won’t get away with this.”

She warned, “And I don’t want a single word about Nicolas’s condition getting out from either of you.”

If it weren’t for needing them to track down the person who made the drug and get him to treat her son, she never would’ve breathed a word about the possibility of Nicolas losing his

chance to have kids.

Jett looked genuinely shocked for a second, then just shook his head with a defeated sigh. “I’ve already tried reaching out, but I just can’t get through to him.”

He pulled out his phone and, right in front of Diana, dialed a number saved as “Miracle Doctor”.

But all he got was a busy signal.

The drug was originally meant for Alicia, but he really didn’t know if it would mess her up or have any side effects.

He did ask the guy who gave him the drug, and the guy said it was safe.

Still, he had a feeling that if Alicia really took it, something bad would probably happen.

Now, after hearing Diana, he realized that any woman who took it would be done for-no chance of ever being a mom.

‘Damn, that’s savage, he thought to himself.

He never would’ve guessed that if a guy took it, he’d end up sterile.

‘If that’s how it is, I gotta do whatever it takes to track that guy down, Jett thought.

Diana frowned. “Don’t you have any other way to reach him?”

Jett shook his head. “Nope, he doesn’t use WhatsApp or any other messaging apps.”

Diana turned to Nicole. “What about you?”

Nicole’s eyes were red as she replied, “I don’t have the miracle doctor’s contact info. Jett was always the one who put me in touch with him.”

Diana was clearly losing her patience. “You two better track that guy down, and fast. Otherwise, I can’t promise the Moore family won’t come after you.”

She shot Nicole and Jett a cold, icy glare. “If my son can’t be cured, whatever consequences he faces, you two will face them as well.”

If her son really ended up sterile, she’d make sure Nicole and Jett paid the same price.

Otherwise, she’d never be able to let this go.

With her only son ending up like this, she wasn’t afraid to take on the Hammond family or the Kingsley family.

Nicole shrank back under Diana’s icy glare, stammering, “I-I’ll push Jett to find the miracle doctor, I promise.”

Diana let out a cold snort. “You’d better make it happen.”

Since they couldn’t find the guy, Diana didn’t bother sticking around. She just left someone to keep an eye on Nicole and walked out.
