Chapter 24
Everyone in the room turned to look at Alicia.
The live stream cameras were now focused on her.
Everyone watching wanted to see how Alicia would handle it.
Too_bad: [With two top stars being so friendly and making the first move, Alicia won’t say no.]
Notyet: [She literally just told Fecility she wanted to be real on the show and not fake any socializing she didn’t want to do. Now let’s see how she handles this.]
Oct 18th: [Does she even have a choice? Bet she’ll totally try to get in with them.]
Dini: [For real, these two are super popular and have insane backgrounds. Alicia would never get this kind of shot otherwise. She’d be nuts not to go for it.]
Norange: [If Alicia actually tries to use this chance to cozy up to them, I can’t help but judge her.]
BurgerK: [Maybe she’s just playing coy, trying to get their attention by pretending to pull back and making them chase after her.]
IceLatte: [If that’s really what she’s up to, I swear I’ll strangle her. She better not mess with my idol.]
Some people in the comments were just there to stir the pot, while others were genuinely bashing Alicia.
Fans of Nicolas and Maxwell were really not happy with Alicia at the moment.
Meanwhile, Jason was in the lounge, watching the live stream. Everyone else had left, except for his assistant, Jackson.
Jackson asked, “Mr. Farrell, should we have the PR team step in and control the comments?”
Jason replied calmly, “No need. The more noise they make now, the harder reality will slap them in the face later.”
Alicia was the kind of person who made her likes and dislikes crystal clear. Even if Nicolas and Maxwell tried to give a little ground, she wasn’t the type to compromise just to please them.
And all that talk about her not being good enough for them? What a joke.
Jason thought, ‘Once Alicia’s true identity as the real heiress of the Hammond family comes out, I’ll see how they react.
“When people start clout–chasing talk, saying Alicia’s faking her status, not good enough, or just trying to get close to those two, don’t bother controlling the comments. Actually, let’s stir things up even more.”
The bigger the drama was now, the better it’d be for Alicia when the truth finally dropped.
He added, “And make sure the marketing team keeps a close eye on Nicole.”
Jackson looked puzzled. “Focus on Nicole?”
‘Wait, isn’t she Alicia’s enemy?‘ Jackson wondered.
‘Even I can tell Nicole is her rival. Did Mr. Farrell just slip up?” he thought.
Jason said with a knowing look, “Have the marketing team spin her story. She’s the rich heiress who chose the grind of showbiz instead of living the easy life.
“If she ever quits the industry, she’ll just step right back into the family empire.
“She’ll be set for life just from the Hammond Group dividends. She’ll never run out of money.
“And make sure her fans start posting comments about how Nicole totally slays Alicia.
“Let them hype Nicole as the real queen, the most gorgeous, the most talented, and say Alicia and the other female guests are just useless eye candy next to her.
“Just put her on a pedestal and make everyone else look like trash.
“Don’t flood the comments. Just drop a few now and then, so it seems like it’s just her fans talking.”
Most of the time, it was the idol who ended up taking the heat for whatever their fans did.
Nicole and Haley had been hiring fake haters to smear Alicia online. Now, let them get a taste of their own medicine.
Nicole’s reputation was squeaky clean right now, and Starlight Entertainment’s PR team was keeping a close watch on her.
So trying to use fake haters to smear her wouldn’t work. Starlight’s PR would shut it down in no time.
It might even make her fans rally around her and win her some sympathy from the general audience.
But what if her so–called fans started acting out and stirring up drama everywhere?
That wouldn’t just piss off the fans of the people she was putting down. It’d also really turn off the regular viewers.
For a celebrity, especially one with big ambitions to break into movies and climb the ranks, public favor was absolutely everything.
Jason thought for a moment, then added, “Make sure she’s trending every single day lately. Flood the feed with praise like how gorgeous she is, her elite background, her talent, her amazing personality, all of it.
It was as if just getting close to them would jinx her, and she was just hoping they’d keep their distance.
Gamekinghere: [As if Nicolas and Maxwell would ever bother with her. She’s just trying to make herself look good by clinging to them.]
Bilili: [Stay away from Nicolas. We don’t want Alicia anywhere near him. She better not even try.]
Back_to_peak: [Best if they just stay strangers. Let’s see if Alicia can actually keep her promise. Max isn’t gonna bother with her anyway.]
MyTurf: [Just wait, those two are gonna tear Alicia apart and drag her with their savage comebacks.]
Bella: [Nicole’s way prettier, sweeter, and has way better manners than Alicia, hands down.]
NoKidding: [Alicia seriously thinks she’s the main character here. Nicolas and Maxwell are only here for Nicole, period.]
User0925: [They were just being nice, and she actually thought it meant something.]
Sprayer: [Next to Nicole, Alicia’s a nobody. Her looks, her figure, her personality, her star power, her popularity. Nicole leaves her in the dust in every single way. Honestly, Alicia’s got some nerve showing up making a fool of herself.]
AsleepN: [Yup, I don’t get how anyone calls her a stunning beauty. Next to Nicole, she’s just a clown in a burlap sack.]
Beer_Or_Wine: [It’s not just Alicia. Even Hannah, who’s considered one of the prettiest rising stars, looks like she’s just there to carry Nicole’s bags.]
The chat blew up with comments hyping Nicole up as being gorgeous, kind, and born to privilege.
Seeing all the hype, her fans couldn’t help but join in with even more over–the–top compliments.
Alicia and Hannah’s fans thought they must be blind.
Other fans and random viewers also mused, ‘Is it our eyes that are broken, or are Nicole’s fans just seeing things?‘
Of course, some people clapped back, but Nicole’s fans instantly went off on them.
They even called them peasants, saying they just couldn’t handle the beauty and vibes of a real heiress.
Those viewers thought, ‘Guess the high–class stuff really is wasted on us.‘
Honestly, anyone with eyes could see who was actually pretty and who got real class.
