Sacrificed To The Triplet Alpha Kings novel Chapter 122

Chapter 122: My Brother Lucian Is Not Very Stable Right Now

Omegas served alphas without question. That was protocol. That was the fundamental structure of pack hierarchy.

She moved to pour his drink, as she poured, his hand moved.

It slid up her thigh, under the table, hidden from most eyes but not from the brothers. His touch was firm. Possessive. Testing.

Lilith’s hand trembled.

The wine nearly spilled. She tried to pull away, tried to move her body out of his reach.

But his grip tightened.

He held her in place, his fingers digging into her thigh just below where the table would provide cover. His hand slid higher, across her inner thigh, moving with deliberate slowness, testing exactly how far he could push before facing consequences.

His eyes met hers with a look that was almost playful and curious.

The moment his hand moved, Lucian’s entire body went rigid.

The effect was immediate and unmistakable. His shoulders tensed. His hands clenched into fists on the table. His entire frame went completely still, the kind of stillness that precedes violence.

Then the growl started.

It began low in his chest, so low that Lilith almost missed it at first. But it built. It grew. It escalated from a quiet warning into something primal and terrifying.

The growl was pure wolf. Pure rage.

It rolled across the entire dining hall like thunder, like a physical force that made the air itself seem to vibrate. The sound was so visceral, so completely inhuman, that conversations died mid-sentence. Alphas froze with their glasses halfway to their lips. Warriors went completely still.

The entire hall held its breath.

Lucian’s eyes shifted...not a full transformation, but gold bleeding through his human facade, the wolf visible and present and absolutely furious. His right hand trembled where it lay on the table. Bones shifted visibly under his skin. Claws threatened to break through, the transformation barely contained by human will.

His gaze was locked on Kieran’s hand.

The hand still resting on Lilith’s thigh.

The message radiating from Lucian was absolutely clear: Move it, or I remove it. And I will do it slowly. And everyone here will watch.

Kieran’s jaw clenched.

He’d gotten exactly what he wanted, the confirmation that the Blackwoods claimed this omega in some capacity. Confirmation that his testing had provoked a response. But he still held his hand in place for one more moment, one more beat, his own alpha pride fighting against the obvious superiority of the threat.

Then he withdrew his hand.

Lilith was frozen, Her thigh burned where Kieran’s hand had been. Her entire body was trembling. Her heart was racing so hard she thought it might burst through her ribs.

The growl was still echoing across the hall.

Then Sebastian spoke.

His voice cut through the moment like a blade...low, calm and lethal.

"Brother."

One word. Just one word. But it reached Lucian through their bond. The message was unmistakable: Stand down. Not here. Not yet.
