Rejected by the Crown Prince? I Married His Uncle
Chapter 104 Will You Beat Me Again?
The guards forced Margaret down onto the cold ground the moment she finished speaking.

Jasper’s face twisted with urgent worry. “Crown Prince Christopher, she is still a young lady. Twenty heavy lashes will break her.”
He turned quickly to Margaret, tone pleading. “Stop arguing and admit your fault. Bow your head and apologize, and Crown Prince Christopher will show you mercy.”
Christopher snapped in irritation, “She spouts nothing but lies, even now. Why do you keep defending
her?”
Jasper pressed on anxiously, “Do you not remember Prince Theodore’s warning? Margaret serves him now, no matter the harm she has caused you.”
Christopher’s rage flared hotter. “You dare use Uncle Theodore to threaten me? Her actions nearly killed me—a crime worthy of punishing every member of her family. I only sentenced her to a beating. Would Uncle Theodore truly hold that against me?”
He shouted at the frozen guards, “What are you waiting for? Strike her at once.”
Heavy lashes rained down on Margaret’s back without delay, leaving her no chance to speak another word.
Pain burned through her body, yet she gritted her teeth and stayed completely silent, refusing to make a single sound.
Jasper rushed forward and pushed the guards aside in a panic.
“Margaret, just yield.” He stared down at her helplessly. “This mistake is yours. Your stubborn tone only makes your punishment worse. A simple apology would soften his anger.”
Margaret’s anger had reached its breaking point.
Talking to these people is a total waste of breath. There is nothing left for me to explain.
If my status were equal to theirs, I would poison every last one of them right now.
When she stayed quiet, Jasper grew even more frantic. “Can you not set aside your pride? Your carelessness left him maimed and in agony. An apology is the least you owe him.”
Margaret glared up at him, jaw tight with contempt. “Fine, You have all already judged me guilty. Beat me, kill me–do as you please.”
Her gaze locked sharply on Christopher. “Only mark my words. You will beg for my help one day, and I will never lift a finger to save you again.”
Margaret’s unbroken defiance fueled Christopher’s fury. “You still show no remorse, even now. Lay on harder blows.”
He stepped forward and pulled Jasper away by the arm. “No more pleas for her. Listen to how she speaks. We have all been far too lenient, and that leniency made her arrogant enough to defy me time and again.

Let her suffer the consequences of her own sharp tongue.”
The brutal lashes continued without mercy.
Margaret endured all twenty strikes in total silence.
She did not whimper, cry out, or beg for mercy through the entire punishment

Jasper clenched his fists tight, his heart heavy with fear as she struggled to push herself up, unable to stand on her own.
Christopher stared down at her with a cold, harsh glare. “Do you admit your wrongs now? Say you are sorry, and I will send the finest healing salve to tend your wounds.”
A bitter laugh fell from Margaret’s pale, trembling lips. “What wrong have I committed? You cannot tell right from wrong, yet you pile all your failures onto a defenseless woman. I have no choice but to bear your false accusations–you are the high and mighty Crown Prince, after all. I only hope you never come crawling to me for help in the days ahead.”
Jasper hurried to steady her on her unsteady feet. “Why must you still be so stubborn? You were never this cold and defiant before.”
Disappointment and sorrow mixed in his expression. “You have no idea how merciful he has been. Anyone else who brought such harm upon him would face far worse punishment.”
Margaret shot his hand away with frustration. “If you have nothing kind to say, hold your tongue. You keep claiming I hurt him, yet you have no proof. You pretend to plead my case while dumping every false blame onto my shoulders. No wonder Prince Theodore questions how I could share blood with such a cruel, unfair family.”
She stood tall through her pain, refusing to slouch or show weakness.
Christopher’s face turned crimson with rage. “You are truly beyond redemption.”
