Chapter 204
Scarlett’s POV
We arrived at the garden where Elsa had set up her space for the session. The cool night air carried a serene calm, and soft lanterns illuminated the area. Clay and Maxwell were already there, sitting with Elsa as she explained something to them. Whatever the topic was, it seemed to hold their attention. When we stepped into view, all three of them looked up, their expressions shifting.
“So, did you finally finish your meal?” Clay teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
I chuckled, playing along. “It was delicious,” I said, knowing full well that it was his work. He winked at me in response, the gesture lightening the mood,
Elsa glanced at me, a knowing look crossing her face. She didn’t say anything right away, but I could tell she had her suspicions about why we were late.
“Well,” she began, her tone amused yet matter-of-fact, “since you’ve worked through your rollercoaster, I guess we can focus on what matters-your vision and your magic element.” Her words carried no judgment, only understanding, and I nodded in agreement.
Luciar pulled me close, pressing a kiss to the top of my head before moving to sit with Clay and Maxwell, his lingering touch reassuring.
Elsa feaned back, her eyes glowing faintly as she addressed me with a playful grin. “Is it true you asked Garland how he liked his steaks before you decided
to barbecue him?”
Her unexpected question made me chuckle, and I nodded, amused at how quickly news of that encounter had spread.
“Clay said you told him you were aiming for ‘well done,”” she added, her tone dripping with humor.
I smirked, nodding again. “I did,” I admitted, and her laughter rang out, light and infectious.
“I wish I hadn’t been locked inside,” Elsa said wistfully, glancing at Lucian. “See, you made me miss the show.”
Lucian’s expression didn’t change much, but his voice was steady when he replied, “It wouldn’t have been a show if Scarlett hadn’t been there. It would have
been a disaster.”
Elsa shrugged but didn’t argue, turning back to me with curious eyes. “So, how did you finish him off?”
before the fight even started,” I explained. “Midnight I took a deep breath, recalling the intensity of the moment. “I saw everything he was going to showed me in a vision. She told me to target the soldiers with the ammunition first, to burn them before they could kill anyong If I hadn’t, Garland would have won. And it would’ve been easy for him, too.”
Elsa’s expression shifted to one of quiet admiration, and she nodded thoughtfully. “Spirit magic,” she said after a pause. “That’s a powerful element, Scarlett. But it requires a deep connection with your wolf to wield it. You and Midnight are learning fast,” she added, her words a commendation that I couldn’t help
but feel proud of.
I nodded, grateful for her recognition. Then Elsa gestured for me to sit beside her. As I settled into the chair, she leaned closer, her voice dropping to a murmur as she began to speak softly, her words almost inaudible. Her hand reached for mine, her touch cool but firm, and a strange warmth began to flow
through me as she worked.
1 closed my eyes, trusting her, as the connection between us deepened and the magic of the moment began to unfold.
After a few moments of murmured words and her touch grounding me, Elsa looked at me with a knowing smile.

You know the elements that belong to your mates, don’t you?” she asked, her tone almost teasing.
I nodded. “Yes.”
“No way,” Clay interjected, his surprise evident. His gaze fixed on me, filled with curiosity.
I glanced at him, a small smirk tugging at my lips. “The magic changed colour in your eyes while we…” I trailed off, leaving the words hanging, my cheeks warming slightly at the memory. Elsa, however, laughed open, breaking the tension.
“What’s mine?” Maxwell asked, his eagerness reminiscent of an excited child awaiting a surprise.
“Cyan blue,” I said, meeting his eyes. “Water element. It matches your temper-you can be turbulent like the waves of the sea but settle just as quickly. Calm follows the storm.”
Maxwell’s grin widened, and Elsa nodded in approval. “You’re good at this, Scarlett,” she said, he voice tinged with price.
I turned to Clay, “Yours was forest green,” I said. “Earth element. You’re grounded, steady, and solid. Your nature is peaceful, calming, and healing-reliable,
dependable, and rooted in strength.”
Clay’s lips twitched upward in a soft smile, his gaze warm, and I could see how much the words meant to him.
Finally, I turned to Lucian. “Fiery orange,” I said, my voice softening. “Fire. Hot, fierce, and intense. Your temper can be destructive and unstable at times, but your strength is undeniable. You’re a force of nature, good and bad, a perfect balance of power and volatility. Your element… it destabilizes me,” I added, the honesty of the confession surprising even myself. “Because I am wind and spirit. And fire only grows stronger with wind-it’s never extinguished.
Instead, it’s fueled.”
Lucian’s expression shifted, a mix of awe and understanding, and I smiled at him before turning back to Elsa.
“How did I do?” I asked her, half-jokingly.
Elsa chuckled warmly. “If I didn’t know better, I’d be looking for a new job. How did you figure it out?”
“The colors,” I said simply. “The moods. And a few things I learned from Keith. It all pieced itself together.”
Elsa squeezed my hand, her approval evident. “You’re a fine Luna, Scarlett, and the South is lucky to have a Valkin of their own with magic,” she said, her words filled with genuine admiration. I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude and pride.
“Let’s begin,” she said, shifting her tone to one of focus. She took my hand more firmly this time. “I need you to connect with four wolf and the spirit within, Call forth the vision and let me share it with you.”
I nodded, taking a steadying breath. Closing my eyes, I focused inward, centring myself as I reached out to Midnight. Her presence was immediate, a calm, powerful force within me, and I latched onto it.

Scarlett’s POV
The meditation techniques Keith had taught me came to mind, their simplicity grounding me in the moment Slowly, my breathing steadied, and 1 let go of the distractions around me, focusing entirely on the bond between me and Midnight. The stillness grew, and I felt the spirit within me stirring, responding to my call
“Good.” Elsa said softly, her voice distant yet grounding. “Now hold on it, Scarlett. Let the vision come to you.”
I allowed myself to sink deeper, opening my mind to the flow of energy and magic within. The world around me faded, replaced by the hum of spirit and power awakening in my core, ready to reveal what I needed to see.
As I sank deeper into my focus, a cool breeze swept through me, far too crisp and otherworldly to be the winter air around us. My eyes were closed, yet i could still see. The colors of the magic swirling in my vision shifted and expanded, and through his ethereal haze, Elsa caite into view,
I saw her woll-a phantom-like, whitish-grey creature with piercing emerald eyes-resting on her head in a spectral form. Its presence was derame yet
commanding, radiating wisdom and strength.
*I will show her, Scarlett,” Midnight’s voice echoed within me, distant and melodic, like the wind carrying her words from a faraway place. I held steady,
