Chapter 67 Chapter 67: Let the human play
Moss
The male elf beside me was kissing my neck while the woman’s hand moved dangerously close to slipping between my legs. That’s how Doris found me at that very moment, between a man and a woman, touching me. She seemed confident, but as soon as she saw the situation, her expression changed completely.
“So you know her?” Marina asked, appearing behind us. I could almost wear the entire situation was her doing, another of her carefully woven schemes. From what little I knew, the medium delighted in machinations and games of power. Not that prophets were so different, but we liked to believe we were guided by a greater good and the future of the kingdom.
“Yes, I know her,” I admitted.
The elf woman had already found her target between my legs. Doris couldn’t tear her eyes away from the scene unfolding Before her, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
“What is a human doing looking for the great prophet Moss? I mean, I know the young prince, your lord, has married a young human, according to that so- called prophecy,” she remarked. It was clear that, just as we did not believe in their powers, they had little faith in ours.
I hissed under my breath when the woman brushed the tip of my dick with her thumb. I had to pull myself together before I could answer.
“She is my lady’s maid.”
“So now prophets and those close to His Majesty are taking humans into consideration?” She removed Doris’s shawl and studied her closely. “This one, in particular, is religious, isn’t it?. One of those who believes in something as fleeting as a single god. That’s what you are, little one?” Marina asked. For the first time I knew her, Doris seemed to understand that it was best to remain silent.
“She is under the prince’s responsibility and therefore under mine.”
‘Ohhh, but she shouldn’t be here. It’s a bad omen, unless you’re interested in her and brought her along for our amusement. Maybe she’s just a lost girl, desperately searching for the prophet who enchanted her. As far as I know, Moss, you tend to have that effect.”
We were doomed now. There was no way this situation would end well for Doris, no matter her reason for coming. Maybe she had followed me through the
night and come to spy.
My lord has grown quite close to humans. And as you said yourself, she is enchanted by me,” I said,
Doris looked as if smoke were about to pour from her ears. Her gaze was pure hatred and fire.
“This is far too interesting!” Marina exclaimed, clapping her hands. “I definitely want to see this.
*See what?” I asked, feeling unsettled.
You two… leave the prophet alone,” she ordered, gesturing for the elves to leave, and they did. “You see, prophet, the great difference between us is that you believe in the future. For us, the future does not exist, not yet. But the present is real, and there is nothing like living it. When we enter another’s body, we take what exists in that moment. We want to know what lies inside each person, their fears, thoughts, and feelings. There is no greater gift than the present. You have doubts, and perhaps I have answers,” she said, stepping closer and looking Doris up and down.
“What do you want? I asked, making it clear that I had an end goal in mind and that I would play along if she could give it to me. I had no other chaier,
Chapter 67 Chapter 57: Let the human play
Lwant you to show me what you do with the human. I want to see if it’s true. Show me that you’ve mastered humans. Show me what you’re capable of.”
I focused on Doris. She was a complicated woman, to say the least. I had to make her understand that this was a matter of life and death.
“Come here, human,” I ordered. Marine watched closely. Doris hesitated but slowly stepped forward.
“Stop,” I said when she was a few steps away. Take off your shoes. She obeyed. “Let your hair down.”
When I saw that she was beginning to comply, I went straight to what had to be done.
“Take off your dress. Slowly.” Her eyes widened, and she hesitated.
“Would you like me to try with your little one? Maybe I can make her understand,” Marina said.
Doris looked as if she wanted to kill us both, but even in her fury, she couldn’t do anything. With trembling fingers, she reached behind her dress and loosened it, she was wearing a chemise under it instead of a corset.
“She looks quite nice. I’ll say you have good taste. She’s stubborn, and perhaps those are the best ones. Let’s see what else you can make her do,” Marina
commented, studying her from head to toe. Doris looked as though she wished the ground would swallow her whole.
“Take off the chemise,”
She swallowed, and her fingers slid over the fabric, and how it caught on her hips. I let out a breath when I finally saw her. A short undershirt barely covered her breasts, and white undergarments protected what little modesty remained. She was small with sweet curves. There was something about her: her burning gaze and parted lips. Seeing her so vulnerable yet so determined made it impossible to look away.
“Very interesting. Humans wear far too many clothes, don’t you think? But perhaps that adds mystery. Maybe you could lend her to me so we can have a bit
of fun.”
