A knock on the door made January stand up, “food is here. Glenn would you mind getting the kids to wash up? Thisbe would you help me to get the dishes set out on the table?”

Glenn nodded and stomped away

She was stunned by his actions and then she groaned, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She laughed and took his hand and let him lead her out of the

January leaned over Kaylee and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “Did you get what you wanted on your plate?”

“Yup! Were you kissing in there? Your lips are puffy.”

“Yes.” January watched as her daughter’s eyes widened and

then tweaked her nose. “Don’t ask questions if you don’t really
