Julian said, “She’s not divorced yet. Watch what you say and how you act. When the divorce is done…”
He paused. His gaze turned sharp and steady.
Then he continued, “When she’s divorced, I won’t let her be afraid of me anymore.”
Lucy believed every word Julian said.
There was something about him that made people trust him without question. Honestly, hearing him say something like that was ridiculously attractive,
Lucy suddenly felt like all those celebrity crushes she used to fangirl over had been completely outclassed.
Still, she was curious.
She asked. “So what’s the plan, Julian? How are you going to make Quinn stop being scared of you?”
Julian glanced at her. “Mind your own business. And didn’t I tell you before, stop getting handsy with people? Did you forget already?”
Lucy knew exactly what this was about. He was bringing up what happened yesterday.
She had kissed Quinn on the forehead outside the hotel.
Lucy quickly said, “Julian, Quinn was really upset yesterday. I was comforting her.”
Julian’s voice turned cold. “Comforting her? Since when does comforting someone mean kissing them? Do you have any sense of boundaries?”
Lucy crossed her arms, unconvinced. “What do you know? Women are fragile when they’re hurting. If I hug her and give her a kiss, she feels better!”
“Really?” Julian frowned. “Still not acceptable.”
If anyone’s going to hug or kiss her, it’s me. No one else. Not even another woman.
Lucy resisted the urge to roll her eyes and muttered under her breath, “So petty.”
Julian looked at her. “What did you say?”
Lucy immediately changed her tone. “Oh, right. I asked Quinn for you. She said you’re impressive!”
Julian’s expression softened. “She did?”
“Of course.” Lucy grinned. “Come on, you should work harder and turn my best friend into my sister–in-
law.”
Julian said, “Just remember. No more touching.”
Lucy huffed. “Yeah, yeah. Got it.”

Chapter 115 Matching Sweaters
Just then, Quinn walked out of the restroom.
Firshed
Lucy immediately grabbed her arm. “Quinn, take your coat off. The heating’s on in here. You’ll get too
warm.”
Quinn nodded and slipped off her puffer jacket. She was about to look for somewhere to put it when the weight suddenly left her hands.
She looked up.
Julian had already taken the coat from her and casually hung it on the rack.
Quinn froze for a moment.
From a hospitality standpoint, Julian was the host. Hanging a guest’s coat wasn’t strange.

Julian frowned. “Stop talking nonsense.”
Quinn wasn’t divorced yet, and a joke like that was clearly inappropriate.
Lucy realized she’d said the wrong thing and stuck out her tongue. “Oops. Sorry. So, should we start the tour now?”
Julian’s jewelry collection truly amazed them.
The entire second and third floors were filled with displays.
Staff members accompanied them, explaining the history and details of each piece.
Both Quinn and Lucy studied fashion design, so naturally they found everything fascinating.
Their eyes darted from display to display. There was another room upstairs.
Judging by the layout of the second floor, that room should have been the largest one, probably around two thousand square feet.
But when the staff guided them through the tour, they deliberately skipped that area.
Quinn didn’t say much. Her eyes were full of admiration.
Lucy, on the other hand, couldn’t help asking, “What’s that room? Are we not allowed to go in there?”
