Chapter 374 His Soft Side Only for You
Furhed
Ever since Julian found out how close Quinn and Lucy were-how Quinn had even helped Lucy bathe while she was hurt-he’d been on edge.
He had to watch out for his own cousin.
“Don’t sleep in the same bed,” he said.
He couldn’t risk Lucy getting too cozy with Quinn.
Lucy rolled her eyes. “C’mon, Julian. We haven’t had a sleepover in forever.”
“So what?” Julian said. “You two shouldn’t be sharing a bed anyway.”
“I’m not gonna do anything.” Lucy mumbled. “Quinn’s in the shower. You gonna call back later?”
“Remember-no sharing a bed. Or no allowance for you,” Julian said, about to hang up. “I’ll call again in a
bit.
Once he hung up, Lucy buried her face in a pillow and laughed until she could barely breathe.
Oh my god. Julian-always serious, always cold, acting like some rigid old businessman-just called Quinn “babe”.
Turned out every guy who said he was too busy for love was just lying. He just hadn’t met the one who made his heart race.
Julian’s change was unbelievable.
When Quinn
came out of the shower, she found Lucy still giggling like crazy.
“What’s wrong?” she asked.
Lucy looked at her and laughed even harder.
After a minute, she managed to say, “Julian just video-called you. I picked up, and the first thing he said was ‘babe’!”
She burst out laughing again.
Quinn blushed.
Julian was usually so reserved in public, so calm and proper.
Around other people, he’d hold her hand at most, nothing more.
But when they were alone, he wanted to be glued to her nonstop.
Quinn sometimes thought he had some kind of skin hunger disorder.
Lucy had already caught them kissing once.

Chapter 374 His Soft Side Only for You
She’d guessed Julian acted differently behind closed doors.
But hearing him call Quinn “babe” still shocked her.
She’d never seen him like this.
When she finally calmed down, Quinn said, “Is it really that funny?”
Firushed
“It would be normal for anyone else,” Lucy said. “People in love call each other that all the time. But Julian? Ugh, I can’t stop laughing.”
Quinn sat on the bed and waited for her to finish.
“C’mon, tell me. How does he act all clingy with you in private?”
“He’s not clingy.” Quinn said.
“Why did you go stay with Lucy?” Julian asked, relieved. “Don’t sleep with her.”
Quinn remembered how hard Lucy had laughed. “You told her that?”
“I did.” Julian said. “She wouldn’t listen otherwise.”
Quinn was at a loss. “Why would you say that? What’s wrong with me sleeping over at Lucy’s?”
“What if she gets touchy with you? Are you just gonna let her?”
“That’s not being touchy.”
“No.” Julian said firmly. “Every part of you is mine to touch only.”
Quinn blushed bright red. “I’m not talking about this.”
“Stay a little longer,” Julian said, gazing at her. “I’ve been busy all day. I missed you.”
Quinn lay on her stomach, chin resting on the pillow, her ears pink. “Are you
tired?”
“Exhausted,” Julian said. “I just want to get back early and see you.”
Frushed
“Don’t push yourself too hard,” Quinn said. “We’ll see each other soon. Promise you’ll rest, sleep well, and eat properly.”
