Chapter 378 Intimate Reunion Night
“Quite the coincidence.” Julian said. “Is he staying nearby?”
Finished
“No.” Quinn explained. “Right after we got out of the airport, I saw two guys fighting. I called you, but you didn’t answer, so I shared a taxi with him.”
“It’s my fault.” Julian said. “I won’t miss your calls again.”
“You were in the shower. It’s normal.”
Julian made up his mind to keep his phone in the bathroom from now on, no matter what.
“Sounds like he’s very helpful,” he said.
Quinn took a bite of a cold appetizer and glanced at him. “Are you… jealous?”
Julian didn’t deny it. He just hummed in agreement.
Quinn giggled. “You get jealous over everything.”
“Won’t have to once we’re married,”
He brought up marriage again.
Quinn tried to change the subject. “I’ve only met him a few times. He’s Lucy’s friend. I barely know him. Besides… I like you. I don’t even look at other guys. You don’t have to be jealous.”
“I know.” Julian poured her some water. “Finish eating, then take a bath. You must be tired after flying all day.”
“I’m not tired,” Quinn said. “I slept for hours on the plane.”
“Really not tired?”
Quinn suddenly sensed trouble.
She nibbled her fork. “W-well… maybe a little.”
Julian gave her a meaningful look. “Let’s eat first.”
Why did he have to say it like that?
What else would they be doing after eating?
It was obvious what a couple who’d been apart for five days would get up to.
Quinn suddenly felt nervous.
She did miss Julian like crazy, but his stamina was overwhelming.
Every time, he left her lightheaded and begging him to stop, saying things she was embarrassed to

remember later.
Once she came to her senses, she wanted to hide forever.
Her appetite faded as she thought about it.
Julian didn’t rush her, just kept serving her food and soup.
Quinn couldn’t eat much and finally set down her fork. “I’m full.”
Julian took her hand. “Let’s go.”
Quinn stood up. “Are you going to be busy tomorrow?”
Finished
“Not too bad,” he said. “Wait for me at the hotel tomorrow. I’ll take you out sightseeing in the afternoon once I’m done.”
“I don’t need that. I can go out on my own,” Quinn said. “Just have a couple of people follow me in the morning.”
The security overseas really was worrying.
She felt so lucky to be from a peaceful country.
“In the morning?” Julian glanced at her. “If you can even get up.”
Quinn’s heart skipped.
Back in the room, Julian pulled her into his arms the second the door closed. “Want to take a bath?”
“Baby, I’ll be quick…”
“You’re lying!”
She was soft, warm, and tight around him. Julian couldn’t get enough, unwilling to pull away.
After five days without her, he wasn’t letting her off easy.
Moans, quiet sobs, pleas…
The sounds didn’t fade until deep into the night.
Early the next morning, Julian woke up, kissed the small woman in his arms, and headed to work feeling completely satisfied.
Quinn had talked about going out in the morning.
She’d be lucky if she could even get out of bed.
Julian told his staff not to disturb her.
He planned to finish the entire day’s work in the morning, so he could spend the afternoon and evening with her.
Now that she was here, there was no rush to head back.
He could work in the morning and stay a few extra days to show her around.
When Quinn finally woke up, she was dazed.
Who am I? Where am I? What time is it?
After a moment, she rolled over and checked her phone.
It was already past eleven.
Julian had texted her, asking if she was awake.
