Chapter 377 No More Being Apart
“Alright.”
“When are you heading back? Maybe we can fly together.”
“I’m going back with my boyfriend,” Quinn said.
“Oh. I see… okay.”
Quinn didn’t reply and turned to leave again.
But as she looked up, she spotted a tall figure striding toward her from the hotel entrance.
His steps were urgent, his gaze burning with a warmth that made Quinn’s heart race.
She forgot everything, dropped her suitcase, and ran toward him.
Julian held out his arms long before she reached him, pulling her tightly against his chest.
He’d missed her, but only in that moment did he realize how deeply.
He held her so tight he felt like he was merging her into his own bones.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” He buried his face in her neck, breathing in her scent. “It’s not safe here.”
His heart nearly leaped out of his chest the second he saw her.
How could she come here alone?
Then he noticed the man standing nearby.
Julian took a steadying breath, swept Quinn off her feet, and carried her straight toward the hotel.
“My suitcase…”
“Someone will get
it.”
Julian walked quickly.
They entered the hotel and stepped into the elevator before Quinn could feel shy.
“I can walk myself…”
“We’re almost there.” Julian looked down at her. “Why be shy? No one’s here.”
He was using a private elevator, and he’d booked the entire floor for his team.
He’d brought a whole group on this business trip.
He’d told his vice president to take his place at the evening event.

Chapter 377 No More Being Apart
He’d been heading out to buy her a gift when he’d seen her.
Once inside the room, he still didn’t let go, sitting down on the sofa with her in his lap.
Quinn curled into a comfortable position against him.
They’d only been together a few months, but the spark of new love still burned bright.
Being apart for days had felt wrong.
In that moment, they simply savored having each other close.
After a quiet while, Quinn wrapped her arms around his neck. “Aren’t you going to the event?”

“I’m not going.” Julian held her waist and settled her straddling him. “Why did you come out of nowhere?”
“I missed you.”
She buried her face in his neck.

“Don’t sneak here alone again,” Julian said. “It’s dangerous. I was terrified when I saw you.”
“I wanted to surprise you.”
“You definitely surprised me.” Julian sighed. “But I was so worried. Just telling me you were coming would’ve been enough.”
“Okay, I’ll tell you next time.”
“There won’t be a next time,” Julian said. “I don’t want to go on business trips anymore. I don’t want to be away from you this long.”
“It’s okay. Next time you travel, I’ll come with you,” Quinn said. “I don’t want to be apart either.”
Julian looked at her. “Have you eaten?”
“Just some airplane food.”
“C’mon, I’ll take you to dinner.”
Julian stood
up with her still in his arms, kissed her again, then set her down gently.
“It’s so late. Is the restaurant still open?”
“It is now,” Julian said. “I’ll have them make something.”
They walked to the hotel restaurant and sat down. Dishes appeared almost immediately.
“Domestic food?”
“Yeah. The team never gets used to the local stuff, so we always have domestic meals when we’re here.“
He kept loading food onto her plate, then asked, “Who was that man earlier?”
“Which man?” Quinn had long forgotten about Shawn. She only remembered when he asked, “Oh, just a schoolmate. We ran into each other on the plane.”
