Second Marriage to Mr. Rich (Ned Fletcher) novel Chapter 313

Even if Sean was on the brink of losing control, he was still willing to do everything in his might to keep his emotions in check.

Earlier, however, during the meeting, he'd genuinely entertained the thought of doing away with the people who'd displayed interest in Angeline.

Their gazes met. They were so close to each other that their breaths mingled. Sean traced Angeline's lips with his thumb and slowly leaned down to kiss her.

When she realized what he was up to, her breathing sped up. As he got closer to her, her scalp tingled. When his nose touched hers, Angeline's breathing hitched. Her lashes fluttered uncontrollably; she felt like jolts of electricity were zapping through her.

Sean pressed his lips lightly to hers and took in the look on her face. Her sweet scent wafted into his nostrils; she reminded him of a ripe fruit ready for picking.

He parted her lips and deepened the kiss. Their breathing grew heavier. Angeline's head tipped back as she responded to his enthusiastic kiss. She was already swooning at this point, and her eyes had glazed over. Her lips were red and alluring.

When Sean saw this, he swallowed hard. He couldn't resist the temptation anymore and lifted her onto the desk. He took his gold-rimmed glasses off and gave her another searing kiss, taking away her oxygen and sucking on her tongue so hard that it hurt.

Angeline kept one hand behind her on the desk to hold herself up. It trembled under her weight, and her slender neck stretched out as she tilted her head more. If not for her having one arm around Sean's neck, she'd probably already be lying on the desk.

She didn't know how to describe the situation, but she loved being intimate with Sean. She loved it so much that it was getting out of control.

Even during the earlier meeting, when their gazes met, her heart would race. The desire to hold his hand, embrace him, and even kiss him had been overwhelming.
