“Ethan, what the hell are you doing?” I gasped as he pulled me further away from Gavin and Matt.

Irene was about to go outside to look for Ethan. He told her he was going to speak with her father about something, but he had been gone for a while. She reached the back door but froze at the window when she saw what was happening in the far distance.
