Judy not sleeping beside me made it difficult to sleep. I knew she was only a hotel room away, and she was with her friends, all there to support my daughter, but still, I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss her like fucking crazy. Not that I didn’t have a good night myself; I spent time with Chester, Erik, and Matthew.

Taylor and Eliza went to the packhouse for dinner, and then they crashed fairly early, wanting to spend some time together. They work so much that they never get to have a vacation, so I didn’t blame them for wanting to spend the night together. But the thought of them getting this time to be with one another fills me with jealousy like no other.

I want that time with Judy. I know I get her every day and will for the rest of my life, but I could never have enough time with her.

The door of the room creaked open, and I lifted my head, my eyes narrowed at the sudden intruder. At first, I thought maybe Matthew was having a nightmare or something; he was known to have had nightmares in the past since finding out Irene triggered his allergic reaction on purpose last year. But over the last month or so, the nightmares seem to be getting better, especially since Judy officially moved into the villa.

But when I didn’t see Matthew standing there, my heart stuttered.

Judy.

She stood timidly in the doorway, wearing her sleep shorts and a tank top. Her hair was slightly a mess from sleep, and her cheeks flushed as she worried about her bottom lip. I thought I must be dreaming. My self-consciousness brought her to me in my sleep because I couldn’t stop thinking about her.

“I must be dreaming,” I murmured my thoughts out loud.

She smiled, a bit shyly, which was cute as fuck.

Shutting the door behind her, she padded towards me and climbed into the bed. Her scent made my mouth water, and my wolf perked up in immediate attention. Her nearness made my cock twitch.

A pain hit my side, making me yelp in surprise.

“Ouch,” I said, rubbing the tender spot her nail had dug in. “The fuck…”

“Not dreaming,” she said with a grin.

I blinked a few times, my eyes finally registering what they were seeing, and my brain catching up to the reality of the situation. I wasn’t dreaming. My mate had come back to me in the middle of the night. I glanced at the clock on the nightstand with a frown.

It was 2 am.

I nipped at her bottom lip, allowing my hands to cross her body along the swell of her belly. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life; my heart only beat for her, and I wanted to show her just how much she meant to me.

I rolled on top of her, careful not to put too much pressure on her stomach, not wanting to hurt her or our baby. I deepened the kiss, my tongue dipping between her lips, tasting what was mine. She let out a breathy moan as my fingers slipped beneath the hem of her tank top. I slowly raised it over her head, revealing her gorgeous breasts to me.
