"Laurence, I need to get back to work. Let's talk another time."

Sonny was already thinking about hanging up.

Laurence asked, "When are you free? You're always busy. You're even busier than I am.

"Fine. Once you come over, we'll have a couple of drinks and catch up properly. That's all for now. I have to get back to work too. Without you around to help me, I have to manage two major companies on my own. I barely even have time to drink water."

"Are my aunt and uncle still staying with you?" Sonny suddenly asked.

"They're still staying at my place. They've teamed up with my mom and my master. They go to the Longbottom residence every day looking for trouble, stirring things up and teaching those two-faced family members a lesson. The ones who claim to support me but don't really have my back."

Laurence sighed. "Sonny, we're young and can't compare with the older generation. That's a fact. They're the ones who start the trouble, yet they somehow always manage to make the other side look like the one at fault. It drives Tony crazy."

The senior members of the Longbottom family who did not genuinely support Laurence and were constantly trying to cause trouble for him were allies of Manny and Tony.

Laurence was not afraid of them. They could not pull rank on him simply because they were older. However, they were elders in the family, and Laurence had just taken over. If he immediately started suppressing them, it would have worked against him.
