Chapter 190 I Skipped Class
Everyone started screaming and freaking out.
They rushed to the window at once. They just wanted to give Stella a scare, not make things go this far. But then they were stunned.
The gruesome scene they’d pictured never happened. There was just empty air and the sound of the wind whistling by.
It was like Stella had just disappeared without a trace.
‘Wait, where is she?’ Everyone freaked out.
Downstairs, this was the spot where Edenbury Academy and the Technical High School next door were about to throw down.
Everyone’s mouth was hanging open like they could swallow a frog. They were all stunned as Stella literally dropped down from the sky.
Everyone on both sides snapped their heads up toward the school building.
Their eyes were about to pop out of their heads.
They thought, ‘Wait, the third floor?
‘Did she just jump from the third floor?
‘Did she seriously just grab the pipes and zip all the way down?’
Declan was speechless.
He just watched in silence as Stella bent down and untied the knot she’d made to keep her skirt in place, totally unfazed the whole time. She didn’t even seem to realize what kind of crazy scene she’d just walked into. She looked up.
Stella was utterly confused.
‘Why are there so many people here?’ Stella blinked, confused as hell.
There were at least thirty people on each side, all rocking their uniforms in the messiest way possible, looking like they were ready to brawl.
But right now, every single one of them had the wildest, most priceless looks on their faces.
“You guys…” Stella’s eyes narrowed dangerously as she stared both sides down.
Chadwick looked like he was about to cry, shaking his head and waving his hands frantically. “I-I didn’t see anything!”
He totally forgot he was still holding a can of ice-cold Coke.
The fizz inside was bubbling up, building pressure.
Stella’s blank stare slid from his face to the Coke can, and she just went quiet.
Everyone stayed silent.
Just when Chadwick thought Stella was about to knock everyone out with the Coke can, Stella suddenly spoke up, “Your coke…”
She just pointed at it.
Chadwick said, “Huh?”
He was so nervous that he fumbled and popped the tab open.
The can hissed loudly.
And just like that, Coke exploded out in a wild, fizzy fountain, shooting up like a soda firework.
Everyone was stunned.

The comedy was off the charts.
Chadwick looked like he was about to burst into tears. This was just way too embarrassing.
“Carry on,” Stella said coolly, waving her hand at everyone before turning and heading toward the boardroom. She shoved her hands back in her pockets, strolling off with a lazy swagger, totally unbothered.
“Oh, and one more thing,” she added, turning back with a casual grin. “Don’t go blabbing about what just happened, or else…”
In a split second, Stella’s face went blank again, and that dark, intimidating vibe snapped right back into place.
“I’ll kill you all,” she said, her voice icy and deadly.
Everyone stayed silent.
Chadwick, who knew the real story, was literally trembling in his boots.
Stella cracked a smile again. “Just kidding.”
With that, she waved and actually walked off this time.
Everyone was speechless.
Meanwhile, in the boardroom, Sebastian was deep in a video call. John, looking as tough as ever with his arms flexed and that stone-cold face, was busy piling chips, cookies, and jelly cups onto the table.
He even stashed a strawberry cream cake and some milk in the fridge.
John sighed.
‘Man, I really hope Ms. Carter likes this stuff, John thought.
Just as he was lost in thought, he heard the door open. John turned around, confused, and saw Stella walk in, casually tossing her school jacket onto the side table.
John felt silent.
He glanced at the clock. It was definitely class time.
‘Why is Ms. Carter showing up in the boardroom when she’s supposed to be in class?’ John wondered, totally
confused.
“Ms. Carter, shouldn’t you be in class right now?” John reminded her quietly.
Stella said, “Yeah, I skipped class.”
John was speechless.
‘Is she for real? Just skipping class like it’s no big deal?’ John thought, totally stunned.
Sebastian paused his video call, his eyes lifting slightly behind those frameless glasses as he glanced over at Stella.
Stella didn’t know what to say.
For some reason, she couldn’t help but feel a little guilty.
Sebastian didn’t miss that flicker of guilt in her eyes.
“Did you get into a fight?” he asked, his voice low and husky, that commanding vibe just radiating off him. He rolled his wheelchair over to Stella, catching the faint whiff of smoke coming from her.
Stella shook her head without hesitation. “Nope.” When she saw Sebastian frown, she quickly explained, “The smoke smell’s from someone else, not me.”
Sebastian gave a short nod, not saying anything else.
“Go take a shower,” Sebastian said, pointing toward the back room. “Leave your uniform by the door. John will send it out for dry cleaning later.”
Stella murmured, “Okay.” Then she turned to head into the back room.
She headed off to take a shower.

She just tossed her phone onto the table without a second thought.
Once she was completely inside, Sebastian finally looked up at John. “Go erase the security footage.”
John was speechless.
Without a word, John walked off toward the security room.
By the time Stella stepped out of the shower in fresh clothes, Sebastian had already finished his meeting and was just chilling there, waiting for her. Eggie was snuggled up on his shoulder.
The little peregrine falcon had just woken up, and when it spotted Stella, it started chirping away, totally hyped to see her.
Stella strolled over, towel-drying her hair with one hand, and reached out to give Eggie some playful pats.
“Mr. Wilde just called me,” Sebastian said, keeping a straight face as he grabbed the towel and nodded for her to sit down.
Stella stayed silent.
She settled in quietly, letting Sebastian handle drying her hair.
“I didn’t get into a fight,” Stella said, leaning her head back to look up at him, just chilling like it was no big deal.
Sebastian was speechless.
Sebastian looked at that gorgeous face of hers and just hummed. “All you did was stir up a fight and take a flying leap from the third floor, right?” Then he just tossed the towel over her face.
Stella didn’t know what to say. She yanked the towel down with one hand, her eyes peeking out. “I told them right from the start that I’m not the type they wanna mess with. But did they listen? Nope.”
