After a long while, a flashy Porsche roared out of the garage.

Snowball was wide-eyed in the passenger seat, totally shocked.

Lucas, in the back seat, looked just as speechless.

“Woohoo! Let’s get this party started!” Big Ben, behind the wheel, cranked up the music, letting the thumping beat fill the car.

Snowball and Lucas just strapped themselves in tight, clinging to their seats for dear life.

At Edenbury Academy, the security guard was slumped over with his chin in one hand, half-asleep.

His coke-bottle glasses were sprawled out on the desk.

Suddenly, a Porsche came speeding up, and before the security guard could even stand, he caught a glimpse of Big Ben behind the wheel casually raising its hand. Instantly, the fancy gates slid open on their own.

The guard was stunned.

The Porsche zoomed straight through the gates.

The ornate gates quietly closed behind it.

The guard gave himself a quick slap.

He thought, ‘Is this some kind of dream or what?’

Inside Class 3, the teacher was in the middle of a lesson when someone started banging loudly on the closed classroom door.

“Just a moment,” the teacher said.

He put down the chalk and went to open the door.

‘Who knocked? Why’s there no one at the door?’ the teacher was confused.

Suddenly, he felt a tug on his pants and looked down.

He was stunned.

There was a little kid, maybe five years old, clutching a shark-shaped lunchbox. When he saw the teacher looking, he tilted his head cutely and waved, just like Stella did before.

The teacher, looking confused, gave a wave back.

He thought, ‘What’s a five-year-old doing outside the classroom?’

Big Ben, standing to the side, piped up in its adorable robot voice, “Sir, we’re here to see Stella Carter.”

Big Ben had locked the Snowball in the car. It was worried that Snowball might stir up trouble. It even turned on the AC for it, just in case.

Big Ben shuffled over and gave the teacher a respectful bow.

Lucas, still in a daze, copied it and bowed as well.

The teacher was stunned.

He suddenly felt like he was about to get abducted or something.

Inside Class 3, the students who’d been dozing off, gaming, or reading comics all snapped awake. “Whoa! No way! That’s a robot! It talks! It even says sorry!”

Chaos erupted as everyone freaked out.

Big Ben and Lucas were confused.

They had no idea what all the fuss was about.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the hallway, John had just come out of the security room. He looked up without thinking and was about to head down the stairs.

Then his foot hung mid-air over the step.

He went stiff.

His eyes widened in fear as he silently took a half-step back, and then leaned forward to take a look.

John gasped, sucking in a cold breath.

Ten minutes later, in the boardroom, Snowball, Big Ben, and Lucas were sitting side by side on the black leather sofa.

Lucas sat there with a super serious look, arms crossed, staring at Stella. He thought, ‘Skipping class? How could she do that? That’s so not okay!’

Stella was speechless.

Stella, for once, was sitting perfectly straight, with her hands placed obediently on her knees.

But in the very next second, Sebastian gave a chilly cough, and Lucas instantly switched to his cutest, most innocent mode.

Sebastian said, “Whose idea was this?”

The three of them pointed fingers at each other without a second thought.

Lucas pointed his tiny finger straight at Big Ben.

Big Ben jabbed its chubby finger at Snowball.

Snowball aimed the tip of its tail right at Big Ben.

Big Ben was speechless.

With two votes against it, Big Ben was instantly declared the culprit this time.

Sebastian’s mood turned even icier. “Who was driving the car?”

It was obvious.

Big Ben didn’t know what to say.

Sebastian’s hauntingly pale, handsome face looked like it was carved from ice, with tendrils of black mist gathering around him. Each strand twisted like a sneaky little snake, snickering with that classic villain vibe.

Big Ben said, “Danger! Danger! Sebastian’s rage meter is about to blow!”

It covered its mouth in an exaggerated way as it sounded the alarm.

John was speechless.

Honestly, it’d be safer if Big Ben just zipped it.

Sebastian groaned, “Big Ben!”

Sebastian let out a chilling laugh, and they could practically see his fury about to erupt. Lucas looked up at Stella with big, pitiful eyes, silently begging her to save him.

Stella was speechless.

Lucas clasped his hands together, begging with puppy eyes.

Stella let out a sigh.

She poked Sebastian next to her, and then mimicked Lucas’s pleading pose, sneaking a glance at Lucas to make sure she nailed the exact same expression.

Her thick, fluffy hair framed her cheeks, and the sunlight streaming in from the window wrapped her in a soft glow. She looked drop-dead gorgeous, and Sebastian couldn’t take his eyes off her.

Honestly, she was so pretty that it was almost adorable.

Sebastian didn’t know what to say.

Seeing the dark aura around him start to fade, Lucas, Snowball, and Big Ben all put on matching puppy-dog faces and stared at him in unison.

Sebastian gave in. “Just this once. Next time, you’re in trouble.”

Big Ben clenched its little fists and cheered, “Yes!”

Big Ben made a heart with its robot hands.

‘Guess I’ll live to see another day!’ Big Ben thought, breathing a huge sigh of relief.

Sebastian turned his head, looking pained as he took off his rimless glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught John shooting him a weird look, shaking his head in disbelief.

The two of them locked eyes.

They both fell silent.

Next second, John immediately looked away, suddenly acting super interested in anything but Sebastian.

He was way too obvious about it.

Sebastian didn’t know what to say.

With the crisis over, Lucas hopped off the sofa and hurried over to Stella, clutching his favorite shark lunchbox. With a dramatic pop, he flipped it open, showing off a creamy yellow omelet inside, decorated with cute little hearts.

His big, clear eyes glittered with starry anticipation.

Stella said, “Did you guys come all this way just to give me this?”
