“What are you eating?” Sebastian asked.

Lucas looked down at the empty floor, adorably confused.

‘Where did my chocolate go?’ Lucas wondered.

Lucas looked up at Sebastian.

Lucas instantly puffed up, looking just like a grumpy little pufferfish.

Lucas stood with his hands on his hips, puffed up and looking adorably grumpy.

Sebastian was speechless.

Sebastian scooted his wheelchair a little to the side, giving Lucas an innocent look and shaking his head.

But his eyes started to dart around guiltily.

Lucas jabbed a finger at Sebastian and opened his mouth wide, like he was about to say ah for a checkup.

‘Time for a checkup, Lucas thought.

Sebastian let out a cold snort.

‘Don’t turn away,’ Lucas said.

Sebastian tapped Lucas right on the forehead.

He gently nudged him.

Lucas did a little roll right where he was.

Lucas was so mad he could’ve flipped the table. Now he was even more worked up.

Stella was speechless.

Lucas puffed up his cheeks.

Big Ben teased, “Hey, don’t squish your face like that, silly.”

Still not satisfied with just puffing up, Lucas plopped himself onto Stella’s leg, hugging it tight and giving her the most pitiful puppy-dog eyes he could muster.

But instead of getting the justice he wanted, Lucas suddenly found his little feet lifted right off the ground.

Lucas looked up, confused.

He tilted his head, looking even more adorable.

The next second, Sebastian and Lucas locked eyes, both wearing the same icy, unreadable expressions.

Allan sat cross-legged on the floor, loving the chaos. He snatched up Snowball’s tail tip and waved it around like a glow stick, chanting, “Fight.”

Everyone stood there, dumbstruck.

They all turned to look at him, deadpan.

Allan was speechless.

Snowball didn’t hesitate. He yanked his tail tip back and shook his head like crazy.

‘I’m a smart snake, you know.

‘Who the heck is this clown? Never seen him in my life,’ Snowball thought.

Stella was speechless.

Sebastian glanced up and said, “Let’s settle this with rock, paper, scissors. You win, you eat the chocolate. I win,

it’s mine.”

Keeping a deadpan expression, he whipped out the chocolate and plopped it right in the middle of the coffee table, smack on top of that priceless painting everyone’s always fussing over.

Suddenly, the tension between uncle and nephew was so thick you could practically see sparks flying.

Lucas squinted, giving his best wise guy look, but with that baby face, no matter how hard he tried, he was just too cute for words.

Lucas stuck out his little fist, ready for battle.

Stella glanced at Lucas, about to say something, but hesitated. Annette pulled her closer and casually offered her some pine nuts. “Isn’t Sebastian just the cutest?”

Annette was grinning from ear to ear.

Stella caught Annette’s gaze, and her eyes sparkled.

‘Finally, someone who gets it,’ Stella thought.

Ten minutes later, Lucas clutched his tiny fists to his chest, on the verge of tears.

He didn’t get even one.

Across from Lucas, Sebastian was just munching away, his face totally blank.

Sebastian gave a cold snort and slid the empty box right over to his little nephew.

Lucas reached out his little hand, moving like a robot, and absentmindedly tossed the empty box back at Sebastian, then poked himself, as if checking if he was still alive.

He totally fell apart inside.

Big Ben laughed, “What a rush.”

Allan jumped in right after Sebastian, grinning. “Man, this is the peak of life.”

As he said it, he started dancing around on the remains of poor Lucas, who was absolutely shattered.

Annette nudged Stella, and when Stella glanced over, she cupped her hand to her mouth and whispered, “Just between us, Sebastian has the biggest sweet tooth, but he’s got a mouthful of cavities.”

Stella was speechless.

She watched Sebastian munching away, stone-faced. Suddenly, it was like someone hit the pause button on him.

His face stayed utterly blank.

He blinked.

Sebastian didn’t go to Stella’s room. He just fell back onto his big black bed, his whole body giving off a chilly vibe.

The plain plant, basking in the moonlight, swayed back and forth.

And suddenly, Sebastian scoffed, “So ugly.”

His voice was cold and ruthless.

The plain plant, who’d been chilling out, was left speechless. Just like that, it shriveled up and turned yellow, totally done for.

Sebastian stared up at the ceiling, his eyes dark and brooding. Not long after, Snowball, who’d been snoozing up in the big tree outside, shot awake, eyes snapping open.

Snowball froze.

Instantly, his scales stood on end.

‘Why is he glaring at me?’ Snowball thought, freaking out inside.

The next second, Sebastian rolled over, still wearing that poker face, and covered his right cheek with his

hand.

Snowball was confused.

His already tiny red eyes suddenly shone with a mischievous glint.

Snowball zipped down from the tree, scampered over to the bed, and poked Sebastian with the tip of his snowy white tail.

Sebastian was speechless.

He turned, his expression stormy.

Snowball flashed a grin, showing off his two sharp, perfectly healthy little fangs.

‘That’s right, no cavities for this snake,’ Snowball thought, feeling pretty smug.

Sebastian was speechless.

His face was so dark, you could almost see the storm brewing.

Snowball collapsed under the bed like a limp noodle, flicking its tongue and rolling its eyes in circles.

It lost its mind.

Sebastian grabbed the black blanket, wrapped himself up from head to toe, and started rolling back and forth on the bed, not a single emotion on his face.

Stella was speechless.

She walked in right as this was happening.

She knew who Lucas learned his bed-rolling antics from.

And suddenly, as if he sensed something, Sebastian went completely still.

Half his face poked out from under the blanket.

The two of them locked eyes.

Sebastian and Stella were speechless.

Stella sat in silence for a while, lost in thought. Stella broke the silence, “What’s up with Snowball?”

She looked down at Snowball, flopped out at her feet, and raised an eyebrow.

Sebastian replied, “It’s just tired.”

Stella was speechless.

‘Whatever, I guess, Stella thought.

Stella said, “I brought you an ice pack.”
