Chapter 289 Breaking Into Technical High School
Stella made her way to the back gate of the school.
“Wait up!” Someone called out to her from behind. Stella stopped and turned.
Her face showed no emotion.
Stella asked, “Got something to say?”
Behind her were four or five tall and strong boys from Class 3. Under Stella’s gaze, they couldn’t help but tense up, their hearts pounding.
The leader mustered up the courage and stepped forward. “We’re coming, too!”
Stella raised an eyebrow.
Her eyes swept over them, and wherever her gaze landed, those boys instinctively looked away.
Stella lowered her head slightly and let out a laugh. “Alright then.”
She played it cool.
“So, what do we do now?” The boys, fueled by pure adrenaline, had charged out, swearing they’d bring Chadwick back. No way Edenbury Academy was gonna be disgraced.
Stella lazily glanced up at the wall. “If we climb over here, we’ll be right across from Technical High School?” Her eyes were calculating as she quickly sized up the wall.
The leader gave a quick nod, but before he could say anything else, Stella’s voice cut in, cool and indifferent. ” Ready?”
The guys were totally confused.
‘Ready for what?’ they wondered.
The next second, Stella cracked her neck, then with effortless swagger, vaulted up and perched atop the wall. She looked down at the boys, cool as ever.
“You’ve got ten seconds,” she said, flashing her wristwatch. The sharp-eyed ones instantly recognized the watch. It was a Vacheron Constantin worth hundreds of thousands of bucks.
‘Wait, ten seconds for what?’ they thought.
“Hey! Which class are you from?” The Dean of Students called out from nearby.
‘Shit!’ the boys thought, panic kicking in.
Before their brains could even process it, their bodies were already moving. One after another, they vaulted over the wall like monkeys in a flash.
The Dean of Students shouted, “You guys! Stop right there!”
He was blowing his whistle as he yelled.
But Stella just waved him off, cool as ever, as if she was just out for a stroll. With a swift, decisive move, she vaulted down from the wall, landing with effortless grace.
The moment her feet touched the ground, she saw the back gate of Technical High School right across the street.
With two schools this close, it’s no wonder students could come and go as they pleased.
“Just so you know, if you’re not up for trouble, you can ball now,” Stella said, hands in her pockets. She’d ditched her school jacket in the classroom, only wearing an open-collared shirt. Her tone was chill, but dead serious and commanding.
The boys exchanged glances. Even though they were all the same age, Stella radiated that born-to-lead energy. Her authority was impossible to ignore.
“Check the cameras! Pull up the footage, now Them fandeme yelled from inside the school, totally

losing it.
Stella raised an eyebrow.
The boys just stood there.
The leader, Caiden, shot her a look, a little awkward. “You know which class Leonardo’s in?”
Stella was clueless. But grabbing someone and asking around? That was no big deal.
Watching Stella acting like she owned the place even though she clearly had no idea, Caiden sighed. “Alright, let’s go. We’ll lead the way.”
With that, he headed straight across the street.
At Technical High School, the boys who went over the wall stared at Stella’s back with mixed feelings as she marched ahead like she didn’t have a care in the world.
Did she seriously not notice that the second she dropped down, those delinquents puffing away on the field were already locked onto her?
Thinking that, Caiden shot the others a look, and they all fell in line behind her.
With Stella leading the charge, the Edenbury Academy students boldly walked right across the Technical High School field, ignoring those hostile gazes.
“Hey, you! Yeah, you! Stop right there!” a rough voice suddenly barked.
A boy who’d been squatting and smoking got up, flicked his cigarette to the ground, and stepped right in front of Stella and her followers. “What, a chick?” he said, reaching out, about to shove Stella’s shoulder.
Stella shot him a sideways glance. Right as his hand was about to land on her shoulder, an icy, slender hand suddenly reached out and clamped down on his wrist.
He let out a scream.
Stella didn’t even blink, but the boy was doubling over, his face turning red. He looked like a total mess.
Everyone from Technical High School was stunned.
Caiden and the others were also surprised.
This scene was unbelievable!
The dude was literally twice Stella’s size, but she handled him like it was no big deal.
Stella asked, “Where’s your boss?”
The boy kept wailing. “I-I don’t know!”
He honestly didn’t know!
Stella shot him a look, knowing that he wasn’t lying, and released him.
‘Ugh! Why’s his wrist all greasy? And it reeks of smoke, too? That’s nasty, she thought.
Stella’s expression turned icy. She fixed a cold, deadly stare at the boy as if she was up to something.
The boy froze in terror.
He instinctively reached up to cover his neck.
For some reason, he couldn’t shake the feeling that his neck might get snapped in the next second.
Luckily, after just a couple of seconds, Stella finally looked away. She bent down, snatched an unopened bottle of water from someone nearby, twisted off the cap, and rinsed off the hand she’d just grabbed him with.
The boy was stunned.
That move didn’t do any real damage, but damn, the disrespect was off the charts.
But he didn’t dare utter a word.
Once Stella emptied the whole bottle, she tossed it aside.
