Chapter 290 Put Out The Cigarette
The door was kicked open from the outside.
Stella swaggered in with her hands in her pockets, looking all lazy but arrogant as hell. Even Caiden and the others got the creeps.
They exchanged glances and followed her inside.
The classroom went dead silent for a split second when Stella barged in, and then it was in an uproar.
The teacher was nowhere in sight, and Stella didn’t even bother to look up. She walked straight up to the podium, her face giving nothing away.
Stella asked, “Where’s your boss?”
Her gaze swept over every face in the room as she asked, cool as ever.
“Who the hell are you?” someone in the back row drawled, sauntering to his feet with a cigarette dangling from his lips. He looked sinister as he walked, his baggy hip-hop pants swaying.
Caiden edged forward, careful. “Mind your words. When she starts a fight, she doesn’t care if you’re a guy or a girl.”
Caiden was reminding him. His heart was in his throat.
Stella gave him a cool glance. “Put out the cigarette.”
“Dutton, you hear that? This pretty girl wants you to put out your cigarette!” The whole class started hyping it up, banging on their desks and stomping their feet, loving the drama.
Dutton shot her a cocky, crooked grin and strutted right up to Stella. He took a deep drag, blew out a smoke ring, and smirked, “Not a chance…”
Before he could even finish the sentence, Stella raised her foot and kicked him straight in the gut without blinking.
Dutton went flying like a ragdoll, slamming into the front row desks, knocking everyone over with the impact.
Everyone in the class was stunned.
There was dead silence.
Stella glanced up, expressionless, her eyes cutting through the crowd and landing coldly on the guys still puffing away in the back row.
Those guys didn’t say a word. They dropped their cigarettes and crushed them under their shoes.
“Where’s your boss?” Stella asked coolly, rolling up her sleeves slowly. The move wasn’t flashy, but it had the front row looking nervous as hell.
No one said a word, but everyone kept shooting looks at Dutton.
Stella, getting fed up, stepped off the podium and walked straight over to Dutton. She grabbed his collar with one hand and yanked him to his feet like it was nothing.
Dutton spat, “Fuck!”
Stella arched an eyebrow, an amused smirk tugging at her lips. It was the kind of smile that made everyone’s skin crawl.
The next second, she slammed the door shut, then snapped a mop handle from the corner and jammed it under the doorknob, turning it into a makeshift barricade.
Stella said, “You guys, stay and keep watching.”
“Yes, Boss!” Caiden blurted out, his voice hoarse. Somehow, he’d switched from calling her “Stella” to something way more respectful, and he didn’t even realize it.
Stella mumbled a lazy “yeah,” grabbed Dutton by the collar, and hauled him over to the window. Everyone

heard the window being shoved open, and the next thing they knew, Dutton was halfway out, dangling over the edge.
He was basically dangling in midair!
The whole class started freaking out, screams echoing everywhere.
The third floor was not super high, but it was not low either. This was insane!
Stella lowered her head, expressionless, and she let go just a little. Dutton slipped even further out, screaming like crazy.
“Fuck! Help!”
Stella smirked. “Weren’t you acting all tough a minute ago? Why so scared now?”
She leaned back against the wall lazily.
Someone was banging on the door like crazy from the hallway. Elias rushed over, but no matter how hard he pushed, the door wouldn’t budge.
“Open the door! Open the door! Which school are you from, huh?” Elias shouted.
Caiden and the others were in shock.
Their hearts were racing. This trip to Technical High School was way too intense. After a long silence, they pressed their backs against the door, holding it shut from the inside.
They totally tuned Elias out, acting like his shouting was just background noise.
Stella yanked a desk over with one hand and sat down in the sunlight. “Declan and Chadwick… They’re with me. Mess with them, and you mess with me,” she said in a cold voice.
Her voice wasn’t loud, but everyone in the room heard her clear as day.
Elias banging on the door outside made Stella even more untouchable.
Stella said, “Your boss took Chadwick away this morning. I’m pissed, so I came to pay him a visit myself.” The classroom was dead silent. After all that hype at the start, nobody dared make a sound.
Stella asked, “Spill it. Where is he?”
Dutton blurted out, “T-Top floor! The rooftop! They’re up there!”
Dutton was hanging halfway out the window, scared out of his mind. His legs were shaking so hard in those baggy hip-hop pants.
Stella let out a sigh. “Seriously? You knew all along and still wasted my time?”
Dutton was rendered speechless.
‘Damn!’ he thought.
Stella hopped off the desk, yanked Dutton back in from the window with one hand. She tossed him to the floor like he weighed nothing.
“Let’s go,” Stella said. She did not even glance back as she waved her hand. She yanked the mop handle out of the door and came face-to-face with Elias, the Technical High School teacher, right at the entrance.
Elias stood there, totally floored by Stella’s presence.
Before he could get a word out, Stella looked up at him. “Hello.”
Elias replied, “H-Hello.”
‘Damn, she’s actually got manners?’ he thought.
As Stella walked past, Calden and the rest of the Edenbury Academy students trailed after her. They greeted Elias just like she did.
Elias thought, ‘No wonder they’re going to Edenbury Academy.
Just like when she showed up, Stella strolled out with her hands in her pockets, lazy as ever. The students

who’d poked their heads out before leaned out again from the hallway windows, watching her swagger off.
