“S–Stella.” Blake blurted out in a trembling voice, still stuck in the splits.

Stella shot him a sideways look, her expression complicated. “What are you doing?”

Blake whimpered, “Just an accident.”

Stella frowned. “Speak bluntly.”

Blake cried out, “My back hurts.”

It really hurt like hell.

Everyone was left speechless.

Kendrick remained silent, then looked up at the sky to try to calm down. He was really pissed.

Blake looked at Sebastian, eyes brimming with tears.

He thought, ‘Sebastian, I just risked my life for you and Stella. Don’t forget that.”

Sebastian was speechless.

“Shut up,” Stella said offhandedly.

“Huh?” Blake gaped, all clueless. “I didn’t even say anything.”

Stella shot him a look, totally unfazed. “I can hear your thoughts!

Blake fell silent.

The next second, everyone heard a sharp pop. Blake let out a yelp, but his voice cut off mid–scream.

Blake gave his hips a little shake, confused.

Then he yelled, overjoyed, “I’m all good now.”

He was so happy that he almost jumped up.

Morgan asked, “Sebastian, who’s this guy?”

He turned his head toward Sebastian.

Sebastian was silent for a couple of seconds, giving a deadpan look.

“Blake is ” He paused, then added, “Just think of him as our mascot.”

Everyone was speechless.

Xander had just hurried downstairs after catching wind of the commotion, and he happened to overhear that line. He sneered, thinking, ‘Mascot? How is that any different from being pet dog?

Morgan just threw out a number like it was nothing and asked Blake, “Does that work for you?”

They just couldn’t believe it.

Morgan raised an eyebrow.

He planted himself next to Blake, racking his brain for a way to get in with Nova Group.

However, Blake suddenly turned and called out, “Stella.”

Stella shot Morgan a sideways glance, totally unfazed.

Xander switched to that bossy tone. “Blake, what does lon Wing Drones‘ business have to do with Ms. Carter?”

“Don’t lump me in with you,” Blake shot back, all cool. “At lon Wing Drones, Stella calls the shots; she’s got more authority than me, and nobody can change that.”

Xander finally felt a bit better.

He thought, ‘Thirty percent? Are they really spending money just for attention? What a joke.’

Stella shot Allan a look, sunlight glinting off her softly curled hai. Her eyes were way too calm for her age as she corrected him. “It’s seventy for Ion Wing Drones, thirty for the Knight family.”

Gasps and whispers broke out all around.

Allan didn’t know what to say.

Morgan was just as shocked. He instinctively glanced at Jaxon, but the latter acted like he didn’t see a thing.

“That’s impossible,” Xander said.

His voice cracked from the shock.

Blake was milking Stella’s authority for all it was worth, rolling his eyes behind her. He thought, ‘I signed that deal myself. What’s that look on his face?‘

Even Kendrick was struck dumb. He was so stunned that he couldn’t get a single word out.

Stella said, “If Nova Group can accept this split, Ion Wing Drones will even take a bit of a loss and sign with you at the same rate we gave the Knight family.
