Chapter 366

A ghostly yellow flame flickered at Stella’s frosty fingertips.

“Stella,” Quincy blurted out the moment he saw her face.

‘It really is her!’ Quincy thought.

The others were too busy freaking out over their precious shop signs. They were so mad that they were about to blow a fuse, and didn’t even catch what Quincy said. Stella heard him, though, and shot him a frosty look.

“How dare you!” One of the members glared at her, looking like he wanted to rip her to shreds.

Without hesitation, Stella snapped her fingers. A match dropped to the ground. Flames shot up into the sky.

Stella stood before the raging inferno, her eyes lit up by the flames, so beautiful that it made everyone forget to breathe. Her long hair whipped up by the scorching heat, making her look like a siren from the sea.

Everyone just stared at her, stunned that she’d actually set the signs on fire. But before they could even process what had just happened, Stella’s chilling voice rang out again.

“Fabian,” she spoke slowly, her tone icy and commanding.

Fabian said, “Just say the word.”

The blaze lit a fire in his gut, setting his fighting spirit ablaze. He just loved Stella’s no-nonsense style. ‘Hell yeah, that’s what I’m talking about!’ Fabian thought.

“Tie up these old things,” Stella commanded, turning her back as the flames roared behind her.

Fabian’s thunderous “Yes” rang out across the scene.

Landen’s jaw dropped, completely stunned. ‘Tie them up? Did she really just say that?’

While Landen was still spaced out, Stella was already back in the chair and lounging there, casually spinning an herb between her fingers. Her gaze was unreadable.

Landen tiptoed back to her side, moving carefully as if he was afraid to disturb her. He placed his hands in front of him, looking as proper as ever. Stella shot him a lazy glance, and Landen instantly cracked a big grin.

Soon, those from the Traditional Medicine Association were all tied up and dumped right at her feet. Stella didn’t even bother to look at them, just letting those old geezers mouth off as much as they wanted.

“You little brat! Barely out of diapers and already trying to act tough,” one of them spat.

“Do you have who you’re messing with?” another snapped.

“You’re done for! Somebody calls the cops!” a third one yelled.

Quincy was sweating buckets. He was just about to bark at them when he suddenly felt Stella’s icy gaze slice right through him. His scalp prickled, and the words died in his throat. No way was he saying a thing now.

He risked a peek at Stella. She was lounging with her chin in one hand, casually twirling the herb, her lips curled in a half- smirk as she stared down the crowd.

“Finished whining?” Stella drawled.

Everyone was instantly silenced. The signs sizzled and popped in the flames. But despite the fire and heat, everyone was

soaked in cold sweat.

“What’s the Traditional Medicine Association’s motto?” Stella asked, sounding totally casual, but her eyes were cold as ice, chilling enough to freeze you on the spot.

They were speechless. ‘Motto? Who even remembers that?’ they thought, drawing a total blank.

Stella shifted her gaze past the crowd, fixing her eyes on the clerks Fabian had roughed up pretty badly. “And what about you guys?” she asked, her tone icy and indifferent.

The clerks looked even more clueless than those old guys.

“Good.” Stella said with a cold smile.

Suddenly, Lucas’s soft voice rang out, “A great doctor is devoted and sincere. Life matters most. If you’re just for profit, you don’t belong here.” He looked like a little ice statue, clutching his milk bottle.

As everyone turned to stare, Lucas shot them a cold look and simply pointed at the shop’s front door. That motto was engraved right above every shop’s entrance.

Behind them, Landen let out a sigh. He’d never really gotten along with the Traditional Medicine Association crowd. At the end of the day, he just couldn’t stand the thought of traditional medicine rotting from the inside out.

Stella flicked a wrapped herbal packet off the table, sending it tumbling to Quincy’s feet. “Selling cultivated herbs that cost 60 bucks for 500 bucks? Seriously?” she said, her voice icy and clear.

“Swapping a customer’s valerian root for some cheap local junk. And hiding behind the Traditional Medicine Association, messing up the market and acting like you run the show,” she added, her eyes cold and unwavering.

She listed out every dirty trick, and before anyone realized it, a strange little device had appeared in her hand. When Quincy got a good look, his pupils shrank in horror. It was the Enforcement Hall’s Flare Spell from the Medical Alliance.

The Enforcement Hall existed to keep the Medical Alliance’s balance and order in check. Wherever the Dorestan Medical Alliance went, the Enforcement Hall followed. They rarely made a move, but when they did, it meant a complete shake-up.

Quincy had been in office for over thirty years, and he’d heard about the Enforcement Hall of Medical Alliance. But he never actually saw them for real. Rumor had it they were related to the Shadow Alliance.

“Ms. Carter,” Quincy said. He was so stunned that he was practically speechless.

Only a sovereign ever had the Enforcement Hall’s Flare Spell. And the Enforcement Hall only took orders from the sovereign.

She was someone so important that even Creed would bow to her. This time, everyone finally heard Stella’s name loud and clear.

Only now did they wake up like they’d been slapped. It finally hit them. This was the same snot-nosed kid they’d just been trash-talking. Stella was the one who would lead the team to Tonalia for the International Herbal Medicine Conference.

Landen was just as shocked. “Dr. Miracle, what are you doing?” he blurted out.

‘Wait, is that really the legendary Flare Spell?’ Landen thought. Awhite-hot flare exploded into the sky with a thunderous bang. His jaw dropped.

Everyone gazed up at the sky, dazed. Fabian and the Fourth Uni had no idea what that flare meant. They just thought it looked absolutely spectacular, especially in the middle of the day

An eerie silence swept over the crowd. It was quiet. Even the wind seemed to have stopped.
