Chapter 381
The overwhelming sense of suffocation left Lila unable to catch her breath.
Lila’s eyes widened in shock, her pupils shrinking instantly.

Stella’s gorgeous face stayed cold and distant the whole time, barely showing any emotion, like she couldn’t care less about what was happening.
Stella walked right past Lila without even sparing her a glance.
Down in the audience, everyone was frozen in shock.
Everyone just stared as Stella walked right up to Houston.
Leonardo and the others were so nervous, their hearts were in their throats.
Rhaesia University was the kind of place nobody dared mess with, totally legendary. And Houston, standing there with that stone-cold, pissed-off expression, was famous for being aloof and weird.
Everyone was scared stiff he’d put Stella on the spot and make her lose face in front of the whole crowd.
Right as everyone was freaking out, Houston suddenly took a step back.
Everyone thought, ‘Wow, is he really that put off?
‘He won’t even let Stella stand next to him?’
Declan frowned, his fists clenched at his sides, his expression was stone cold.
But the real story was: Houston was mumbling to himself, “How could I possibly deserve to stand next to the Young Sovereign? I don’t deserve it! I’m totally unworthy! I’m a sinner!”
He just kept mumbling to himself.
Sebastian kept his cold, inky eyes locked on Stella, not moving a muscle. His thin lips pressed into a line, and at some point, his hand had curled into a fist, like he was nervous about something.
Stella leaned into the mic, her face blank as she turned her head and muttered under her breath, “Shut up.”
Houston went quiet right away, acting all obedient.
But inside, he was losing his mind. He screamed inwardly, “The Young Sovereign actually talked to me!’
He was so hyped that he felt like he could do a 360 backflip right there.
But to the students watching from below, their minds automatically filled in the scene: Stella had turned to say something to Houston, and Houston was practically shouting with his body language, “Back off!”
Stella picked up the mic, her bracelet hanging loose on her pale wrist, giving off a chill kind of elegance. She

was about to say something, but switched it up at the last second.
She said, “Anyone else got questions? Just ask. I’ll answer them all together.”
Her voice was cold and distant.
Nobody said a word down below.

“As a student of Edenbury Academy, don’t you feel embarrassed doing something so outrageous?” someone piped up, putting on a self-righteous act, but kept sneaking glances at Houston. Everyone could tell he was just trying to get Houston’s attention.
Since Houston clearly hated this kind of thing and his attitude toward Stella was obvious, this guy figured he’d use the moment to show off and suck up to Houston, hoping to win some points with the old principal.
And sure enough, Houston glanced right at him.
Houston fumed inwardly, ‘You’re the one who’s out of line! Your whole family’s out of line! You little brat!’
“Nope,” Stella said flatly, glancing up.
Another guy from the honors class grabbed the mic, copying the first one. “I’m the class president of the honors class,” he said, even more direct than the last guy.
He just blurted out his name, his grades, and almost his whole life story, leaving everyone stunned.
He pressed, “I want to ask the principal: shouldn’t Stella be expelled for causing such a scandal in front of everyone? As a warning to others?”
Stella gave a faint, almost mocking smile and turned to Zack. She asked, “So, Zack, are you going to expel me?”
Zack stared at the guy, but inside, he was absolutely losing it. He was practically roaring with rage.
He grumbled inwardly, ‘Hell with this.
‘You little punks only got to meet Houston from Rhaesia University thanks to Stella. You take all the benefits she brought you, then stab her in the back the second you’re done. What a bunch of ungrateful brats.
‘Scram! Get out of my sight.
‘I’d rather feed the Rhaesia Invitation to the school mutt than let you ungrateful brats have it.’
He was so pissed off that he was this close to flipping a table.
Just as Lon from Class 3 was about to stand up and put on his holier-than-thou act, Caiden and the others weren’t having any of it.
Caiden shot up and grabbed Lon by the collar. He snapped, “What the hell are you trying to pull?” Things were about to get ugly.

Houston finally couldn’t help himself. He snatched the mic from Zack and said, “Excuse me.”

Caiden still had Lon by the collar, not letting go.
Houston said, “The first student who asked a question, what’s
your
name?”
He craned his neck, scanning the crowd for the speaker.
But with so many faces packed together, he couldn’t tell who was who anymore.
The first guy, who was kicking himself for not mentioning his class and name earlier, quickly raised his hand and called out his name.
Houston kept smiling. He slowly read out the names of the two students who had just asked questions.
The two students answered in a hurry, thinking they were totally nailing it by sucking up. They thought, ‘Maybe we’ll actually score a Rhaesia Invitation for this?’
Their hearts were in their throats.
Houston nodded and said, “Good.”
As soon as he said it, his smile disappeared.
He then snapped, “You two are officially on my blacklist. For the rest of your lives, don’t even dream about getting into Rhaesia University!”
Their grins froze, and both blurted out at the same time, “Why?”
Everyone was absolutely floored by what just went down.
They thought, ‘Did those two really just piss off Houston and get themselves banned from Rhaesia University for life? But why?’
Lon’s face went paper white. Realizing he’d almost been the third one banned for life, he just stared at Caiden’s hand in a daze, his mind wiped clean. He honestly couldn’t tell if he should pull away first or thank Caiden for saving his skin.
Houston stepped up to the front, mic in hand, his face dead serious. He said, “Dr. Rhaesia Quill, the founder of Rhaesia University, was always the type to cover for his own, especially when it came to…”
He paused, swallowing back the words ‘Stella’ that almost slipped out. He added, “All students from the main campus!”
