Chapter 410
After all the chaos, things finally settled down.
The plain plant let out a satisfied burp.

The plain plant, now stuffed and satisfied, shot up a bit in its pot, swaying lazily and batting away Orlando’s hand whenever he tried to sneak a touch.

Herbal Medicine Guild was discussing.
After a burst of lively chatter, Soleil compared the plain plant across the room to the ancient herbal text on her phone, her excitement growing with every comparison.
Silverthatch was insanely rare. Its growing conditions were so strict. People said one’d be lucky to find a single wild one in a hundred years.
‘Seriously? She just stuck it in a plastic pot like it’s no big deal?’ Soleil thought, totally stunned. ‘No way!’
Quinto’s face darkened.
“Mr. Wilkerson, when are we opening the mountain?” Cain lounged off to the side, looking bored, his flawless face practically glowing with an otherworldly charm, his eyes dangerously captivating.
Quinto instantly wiped the jealousy and anger off his face. “Right now!”
He pulled himself together, turned to the group, and gestured for them to follow. “Please, come with me. But…”
He paused, his tone heavy with meaning. “Just remember, no cheat tools allowed, stick to the rules.”
Everyone’s eyes snapped to the plain plant.
Plain plant was losing it. It thought, ‘Cheat tool? Seriously? Look who’s talking!”
Stella looked totally unfazed, like none of this bothered her at all.
Honestly, the only reason she hadn’t left yet was because she wanted to see if the so-called “miracle flower” on this mountain was actually the legendary Ghost Orchid.
“Sebastian, you and Lucas stay put and wait for me,” Stella said, shooting a look at Sebastian before glancing past him at the three elders.
Blackie lazily slithered from Stella’s hair down to her wrist, looping itself around. Stella absentmindedly stroked its back. “You three, make sure Lucas doesn’t get into trouble.”
The three elders answered together, “Yes!”

They started up the mountain.
“Medicine Mountain is…” Quinto, leading the way, couldn’t stop bragging about its history as he marched the group up the trail.
Stella hung back at the end of the line, moving with that cool, laid-back swagger, totally unfazed, as if she owned the place.
She was the only Clusia rep heading up this time; the rest stayed behind at the foot of the mountain.
At some point, a light mist began to drift in, quietly creeping around them.
Because Stella was moving slowly, she soon lagged far behind the rest of the group.
“Ms. Carter…” The cameraman following her glanced ahead, hesitated, wanting to warn her, but stopped himself.
The mist kept getting thicker.
Suddenly, Stella stopped dead in her tracks.
The cameraman stammered, “Uh, what’s up?”
His heart was thumping, all over the place.
“Turn it off,” Stella said coolly.
She meant everything, every piece of equipment he had on him.
The cameraman blinked, totally thrown. “What?”
He just stared, completely shocked.
Stella glanced past him into the swirling mist, her face unreadable.
With that cold, dangerous aura and her killer looks, there was something about her that sent a chill down your spine and made your heart skip a beat.
[Stella, don’t do it!]
[Please don’t turn it off!]
[Hey, we minions have lives, too, Queen!]
But no matter how much the chat was spamming and wailing online, the cameraman still shut down all his gear, and the livestream cut out instantly.
“Go find somewhere to hide over there,” Stella said, casually rolling up her sleeves. Her lips curled into a faint smirk, her tone calm but laced with a hint of darkness that made the whole vibe feel dangerous.
The cameraman was speechless, just staring at her.

Then she flashed him a chilling smile.
Two minutes later, the ground was littered with chaos and bodies.

Reuben was hoisted off the ground and slammed against a massive ancient tree, blood gushing from his mouth.
With a heavy thud, he was tossed to the ground, lifeless.
“Trash,” Stella said, her voice ethereal and emotionless.
At some point, her hand had become smeared with blood so quietly that it was almost chilling.
She bent down and, one by one, tore the Herbal Medicine Guild badges off their collars, methodically and without a hint of emotion.
The cameraman, who’d witnessed everything from start to finish, was left in a daze.
Even seeing it with his own eyes, he just couldn’t reconcile the girl before him with the cold-blooded reaper he’d just watched in action.
A dusty little Pebble rolled right up to Stella’s feet.
Stella froze.
She lazily moved her foot aside.
Pebble snuggled right up against her again.
Blackie hissed. Blackie, who’d been quietly coiled around her wrist, suddenly lifted his little head, his bean- like black eyes locked onto Pebble, wariness written all over his face.
