A wet and soft touch landed on Liz's cheek. It was Ron who kissed her, leaving her cheek wet with his drool. Liz turned her head in astonishment to look at him. Having done something momentous, Ron seemed to find the stunned woman quite amusing. The little guy waved his tiny hands, clapping excitedly, and burst into a fit of giggles. When Remington snapped back to reality, he gave the little guy's bottom a light smack and grumbled, "I haven't even had enough of my girlfriend yet, and you dare to steal her away!" Saying that, the man bent down and placed Ron on the hospital bed, refusing to hold the little ingrate any longer. Anyone who dared to fight him for his girlfriend, regardless of age, gender, or species, was an eyesore to him. "He kissed me! Did Ron just kiss me?!" Who knew that something even more frustrating was about to happen. He had just stood up when Liz, who had been frozen in place, grabbed his arm and exclaimed. The joy in her words and the obvious excitement on her face made Remington feel as if he had swallowed a lemon. "Girlfriend, you didn't have this reaction when your boyfriend kissed you just now! It's not fair to treat handsome men so differently." Remington's tone was sour because he was genuinely a bit hurt. When he kissed her, she had absolutely no reaction. Yet, when a toothless toddler kissed her, leaving half her face covered in drool, she was thrilled beyond measure. Liz was speechless. "Who cares about an old handsome guy like you? I only like soft, little handsome guys like Ron." As Liz spoke, she pushed Remington away, intending to hold Ron. Remington's lips pressed into a tight line. He firmly wrapped his arm around Liz's waist, took a step forward, and completely trapped her between himself and the hospital bed. His dangerous aura closed in. With his slightly rough thumb, he wiped the child's drool off her cheek. Showing evident disgust, he said, "He practically washed your face with his spit, and you call him a handsome guy?" Liz smiled at him. "He's still cuter than you." "Who's cute? Tell me, who is actually cute?!" The man narrowed his eyes, gripping Liz's waist to pull her flush against his body. A heavy, dangerous, and predatory aura surrounded them. He wasn't the least bit cute; in fact, he was quite intimidating. But Liz cowardly backed down, hurriedly saying, "You're cute. My boyfriend is the cutest." Remington was satisfied with this answer. He leaned down and planted another heavy kiss on her rosy lips before releasing her. "You're stamped now. No taking it back." He watched Liz nod before finally turning around with peace of mind. The man opened the door to the room. "Dr. Fields, please come in." Liz looked over, only to realize that a middle-aged male doctor in a white coat had been standing right outside the door. Liz froze, remembering that while Remington was relentlessly clinging to her, the doctor had been waiting right there. Since hospital doors were far from soundproof, Liz's face instantly burned with embarrassment. She decided that boyfriends were indeed the least cute creatures on earth! By this time, Ron was being very good, lying on the bed and chewing on his fingers. The doctor gave him a full-body examination. Fortunately, while Ron had quite a few bruises, they were all superficial. His body would slowly heal, and it wouldn't affect his overall health. Liz breathed a sigh of relief. After the doctor left, she looked at Ron, who had fallen quietly asleep on the bed, her eyes gentle yet distant with melancholy.
