Just as she was thinking this, Remington turned his head and smiled.

"Grandma Bernice, Liz looks exactly like you did when you were younger. No wonder she's so gorgeous—she gets it all from you."

Grandma Bernice froze. She took two steps toward him, finally noticing several photo albums stacked beside him. He had one open on his lap, currently looking at an old photo from her youth.

Her eyes went wide, and she stomped over.

"Where did you find those?" she asked, entirely baffled.

Remington stood, closing the album in his hands and waving it slightly at her.

"Just take a look at the cover, and you'll see."

She squinted at it closely, only then realizing the cover was completely different from a standard photo album.

On the outside, it looked exactly like a corporate contract binder. When she had searched the bookcase earlier, she had seen a shelf full of contract files and completely ignored it.

Clearly, these albums had been disguised as folders and slipped right in among the business documents.

She puffed her cheeks, thoroughly frustrated.

"You just got lucky! Don't get cocky. Even if you won this bet, I still won't agree to you and Liz being together! Nelson won't either!" she emphasized.

Remington wasn't deterred. He pointed at the album.

"I understand. Do you want to look through the photos together?"

She hesitated, but ultimately couldn't resist the lure of the pictures and walked over.

The two sat down together on the sofa, and Remington flipped back to the page he had just been viewing.

Grandma Bernice leaned in, her brow furrowing.
