Shattered Vows: Call Me Auntie Now novel Chapter 210

Quinn shot Yasmine a freezing glare without breaking her stride. "I strongly suggest you shut your mouth right now."

Yasmine completely ignored the warning. "You have the nerve to threaten me? Take a good look at yourself! Don't think I don't know exactly what you're doing. You put on that perfect, understanding-wife act just to make Dante change his mind and cancel the divorce!"

"Keep dreaming! He is going to marry Vivienne. The only reason he's stringing you along right now is to save the Hayes family's face and protect the stock price..."

The two women had already stepped inside the private lounge.

Yasmine trailed right behind her, spewing vicious insults with her usual venomous flair.

Quinn casually kicked the door shut. Without a second of hesitation, she took the half-eaten peach mousse cake and slammed it directly into Yasmine's face.

"Ahhh!"

Yasmine shrieked in horror. She clawed at her face, feeling the sticky, thick frosting matting her hair and clogging her pores.

Realizing her hands were now covered in the mess, she began shaking them frantically.

"What the hell are you doing, Quinn?! Are you a lunatic?!"

Quinn smirked. Watching Yasmine's perfectly contoured makeup turn into a disastrous, sticky clown mask was incredibly satisfying.

She fought the urge to burst out laughing and forced wide, innocent eyes.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. My hand just completely slipped."

This was called beating a manipulative mean girl at her own game.

Yasmine felt like she was going to explode. "You literally raised your arm and shoved it into my face! How does a hand just slip like that?!"

Yasmine lunged forward to attack her, but a second later, the skin beneath the frosting started to burn. An unbearable, fiery itch spread across her entire face, forcing her to scratch at her cheeks frantically.

Her peach allergy was kicking in hard.

"Oh no, what's happening to you? Wow, look at those hives! Your face is entirely swollen!"
