The chilling male voice ringing out from the hallway was all too familiar to Quinn.
It was Dante.
It seemed that wherever Vivienne crawled, he was always two steps behind, guarding her like a prize dog.
Dante stood firmly in the corridor, staring darkly at the closed restroom door.
The two girls who had fled in sheer panic were rushing to find security, only to crash directly into an approaching Dante.
Treating him like their ultimate savior, they had sprinted over, breathlessly recounting the danger.
"Mr. Hayes! It's terrible! You have to go check!"
"Quinn has Vivienne cornered in the women's restroom! She's out of her mind and looks like she's about to beat her to a pulp!"
Hearing this, Dante scowled and immediately marched toward the chaos.
Being a men's restroom would have been simple, but he couldn't just storm into the women's room, so he was forced to stand outside.
Yet his cold, authoritative tone sliced straight through the heavy wooden door.
"Quinn, stop this madness, let Vivienne go."
Hearing Dante's voice was like grabbing a lifesaver in the middle of a drowning ocean for Vivienne.
"Quinn, Dante is here! Aren't you going to let me go now?"
She looked up at Quinn, attempting to look utterly helpless, yet there was a distinct, mocking superiority in her eyes.
"If you don't release me, he's going to see exactly what kind of psychotic shrew you really are. He'll only despise you more."
At those words, Quinn kept an iron grip on her collar with one hand and raised her other high in the air.
Smack!
She delivered a vicious, ringing slap directly to Vivienne's face.
"Vivienne, I fully intend to beat you right in front of Dante today."
Vivienne had assumed Dante's arrival would terrify Quinn into backing down. She never anticipated taking a brutal slap across the face.
The force of the strike left her entirely stunned.
In an instant, she let out a blood-curdling scream, consumed by raw terror. "Dante! Help me! Hurry, help me!"
"Quinn has completely lost her mind!"
Dante couldn't help but take a step forward toward the door. "Quinn, can you calm the hell down?"
He halted, glancing back at the two girls behind him, ordering darkly, "Go in there and check on them."
As the two girls hesitated, the restroom door finally swung open.
However, upon seeing the horrifying scene before them, everyone present collectively gasped.
Quinn stood aggressively in the doorway, her fingers deeply intertwined in the back of Vivienne's long hair, hauling her backward with terrifying force.
She was yanking so hard that the scalp tension was visible. It looked agonizing.
"Quinn, what the hell are you—"
Before Dante could finish his furious demand, Quinn flicked her wrist, violently hurling Vivienne straight at him.
The sheer momentum made it impossible for Vivienne to keep her balance; she stumbled forward, hurtling toward the floor.
Her scalp flared with blinding agony, feeling as if it had nearly been ripped clean off!
Dante's eyes widened. Instinctively, he reached out, catching Vivienne by the arm and steadying her against him.
Everyone's eyes were utterly fixated on Vivienne.
Her pathetic, humiliated state was on full display.
The flawless hair she had spent hours styling was now a chaotic, bird's-nest disaster thanks to Quinn's savage grip.
Strands clung messily to her tear-streaked face.
Her freshly touched-up makeup was thoroughly ruined.
She violently wrenched her arm free.
"Tell your precious darling to keep her mouth shut. The next time she spreads rumors about me, I'll rip it off her face."
Dante turned, casting a somewhat chilling look down at Vivienne.
Vivienne's sobbing hitched slightly under his gaze, but she quickly resumed shaking her shoulders in misery.
Her voice was choked and delicate. "Dante, I didn't spread any rumors about Quinn... I don't even know why she suddenly blew up and attacked me. I didn't even have time to dodge."
The two observing girls, seeing a golden opportunity to curry favor with the heiress, eagerly vouched for her. "She's telling the truth, Mr. Hayes! We were just touching up our makeup, and Quinn completely lost it, grabbing Vivienne by the collar out of nowhere."
"Exactly! Vivienne was even praising Quinn's design talent just a second ago! She didn't say a single bad word."
Quinn shot them a lethal glare. The two girls instantly shrank their necks, snapped their mouths shut, and cowardly backed away.
"Assaulting someone is out of line, regardless of the reason. Apologize to Vivienne," Dante demanded.
Without fail, Dante's scales always tipped in Vivienne's favor, forever demanding that Quinn be the one to surrender.
Quinn didn't even blink before rejecting him. "Sorry, not going to happen."
Seeing her absolute defiance, Dante lowered his voice in warning. "This is the official registration venue. You assaulted her in front of a dozen witnesses today."
"If you don't apologize, aren't you worried they'll revoke your competition eligibility?"
"You really don't need to worry about that, Mr. Hayes," she replied flatly.
In reality, the person most stunned by all this was Vivienne.
Ever since marrying Dante, Quinn had been an absolute doormat. Why had she suddenly erupted into such terrifying violence today?
It had caught her completely off guard.
Quinn had zero desire to look at them for another second. She tried to walk away, but Dante's towering frame blocked her path once more.
"Are you done throwing your tantrum yet? When are you moving back to Belvedere Gardens?"
"I'll come over and help you pack your things."
