Chapter 139
Dominic was annoyed. “Are you done yet? I already said we’re square. I don’t want to see you again!”
Jessica froze for a moment and murmured, “I promised to give you 200,000 dollars. Don’t you want it?”
“Of course I… Wait, what? Why didn’t you say so earlier?”
Dominic’s expression changed at once. The moment he heard 200,000 dollars, his eyes lit up.
Two hundred thousand dollars, earned through skill. Who in their right mind would turn that down?
Jessica pulled out her phone and was about to scan the code when she suddenly noticed two people lingering near her motorcycle. They looked suspicious.
“Hey, what are you doing?” she shouted and ran toward the bike.
Just as she reached it, a van sped over. The two people moved with lightning speed and dragged her straight into the vehicle.
Dominic saw everything, and his heart pounded. ‘A kidnapping! Jessica has been taken!‘
He ran without thinking. He spotted the motorcycle keys on the ground, snatched them up, and jumped onto the bike.
“Jessica Hale has been kidnapped!” he shouted. “If anyone knows her, notify her family immediately!”
Then he tore off after the van.
Inside the Wild Wolf Boxing Studio, faces changed instantly when people heard his shout. Several rushed to make phone calls.
Dominic rode hard, keeping the van in sight.
Jessica had caused him trouble more than once. He could have ignored this and walked away, but 200,000 dollars were on the line. That was his justification. He kept chasing.
At an intersection, the van blasted through a red light without slowing.
Dominic gnashed his teeth and prepared to follow.
Suddenly, a black sedan came straight at him. If he failed to react, he would be hit.
His expression changed. At the last second, he adjusted his direction. The motorcycle traced a smooth arc and narrowly avoided
the car.
As he passed, Dominic felt a cold gaze lock onto him from inside the sedan. Then the car drove off.
“Darn it!” he cursed under his breath.
In that brief delay, the van vanished into traffic.
At that moment, a Rolls–Royce passed by. The window lowered, revealing a middle–aged man who spoke in a deep voice.” Follow me,”
Dominic recognized him immediately. He was the man he had seen at the entrance to the police station that day.
The Rolls–Royce did not slow. Dominic revved the motorcycle and followed.
Half an hour later, he arrived at a reservoir where a crowd had gathered.
Most of them were bodyguards in black suits.
The people from the van had been forced out, but there was no sign of Jessica.

The middle–aged man stared at the vast stretch of water, his eyes blazing with rage. “Did you push the lady into the reservoir?”
The three kidnappers knelt on the ground with their hands on their heads. Several bodyguards aimed guns at their foreheads.
