Dominic knew Andy would not confess. Even if they killed him, he would not confess. And if everything went as expected, Andy probably was not even his real namne.
Dominic said, “Captain Sanchez, find out his real identity.”
Ezra saw it as well and nodded. “I know.”
Andy’s expression did not change, but a trace of mockery flickered in his eyes.
He was not worried at all, and Dominic did not care either. From the moment Andy mentioned Grants of Skyline City, Dominic had already guessed the truth.
The mastermind had likely even told Andy exactly what to say if he was caught. Everything had been planned in advance. Trying to find the real culprit was little more than a pipe dream.
Not long after, a police car pulled up. Several officers stepped out and rushed over. When they saw Andy already restrained, they froze in surprise.
“Captain, what…”
Ezra nodded. “The arson suspect.”
At that, their faces lit up with excitement.
Dominic said, “I’ll leave the rest to you. I’m heading out.”
“Wait,” Ezra suddenly called.
Dominic paused. “What is it?”
Ezra studied him for a few seconds before speaking in a serious tone. “Don’t repeat this again. Safety comes first.”
Dominic smiled faintly. “It’s a small matter.”
With that, he turned and left without looking back.
Ezra watched him go for a long while, then shook his head with a wry smile. He knew exactly what had happened.
Dominic had already brought Andy under control, yet still called him over alone. It was a deliberate gesture, handing him the credit. Even so, dealing with a vicious criminal like Andy outside the station carried unpredictable risks.
Dominic got into the car and let out a quiet sigh. ‘Ezra, your worry is unnecessary. You have no idea what I am capable of.‘
He grabbed the keys and drove straight back. He did not go to the hospital, but returned directly to Luxe Residence.
It was the weekend. Lilith was resting at home, and Dominic still worried about Oliver.
The moment he opened the door and saw the scene inside, he froze.
“You two…” Dominic could not even find the words to describe how he felt.
The house no longer resembled its former state. Colorful paint splattered every surface.
At that moment, a small blue figure and a green adult chased each other through the living room.
“Pew, pew, pew!”
Lilith wore a little dress. Her face, arms, and calves, nearly every patch of exposed skin, were smeared with blue paint. She clutched a toy gun as her short legs carried her after Oliver.

Oliver laughed as he ran circles around the coffee table.
The instant Dominic appeared, both of them froze, staring at him as if struck dumb.
Lilith spoke hesitantly. “Dad… Daddy? I thought you weren’t coming back today?”
Oliver stood there in shock, close to dying of secondhand embarrassment.
Dominic’s cheek twitched. His fists clenched as he ground out, “Lilith Fleming!”
Lilith shuddered from head to toe.
“Go wash yourself clean right now,” Dominic continued. “Immediately. This second.”
She did not dare disobey. She dropped the toy gun and dashed into the bathroom.
Oliver frowned in displeasure. “Calm down. What’s wrong with a kid playing a little? It’s just paint. We can hire cleaners later, can’t we?”
Dominic snorted, looked him up and down, then shook his head. “I hope you can stay this calm later.”
“Daddy, it won’t… It won’t wash off…” Lilith called out anxiously from the bathroom.
“You too, why are you being so harsh on a child? Playing around isn’t-“Oliver’s voice cut off mid–sentence.
Realization finally caught up with him. His eyes widened as he slowly turned toward the bathroom, his voice threaded with fear. “Lily, what did you just say? What won’t wash off? Say it clearly.”
