Chapter 365
Dominic shook his head. “It’s impossible now. I paid the price with a life, and you still want me to forgive you. Don’t you think that’s pure fantasy?
“More than that, Alexander was nothing more than a substitute for that person in your heart. Honestly, I almost wish that person hadn’t died. If he were still alive, the two of you would be tied together, and you wouldn’t be bothering me anymore.”
Isabella was already in tears, shaking her head again and again. “Even if he hadn’t died, I still wouldn’t have been with him. I only love you…”
Dominic replied flatly, “You’re just being stubborn with your words.”
With that, he got out of the car.
Isabella followed and stepped out as well.
They walked out of the underground parking garage together.
Dominic stopped and said, “That’s enough. You can go.”
Isabella said weakly, “I want to go upstairs.”
“Dream on,” Dominic sneered and pointed toward the entrance. “Get lost. Now. Immediately. Right this second.”
After that, he went straight into the building.
Isabella still followed him.
Dominic ignored her. When he reached his front door, he unlocked it, went inside, and slammed it shut.
The door closed violently right in front of Isabella. The thunderous sound seemed to shake the entire building, and Isabella’s heart shook with it.
She stood there and waited for half an hour.
The door never opened.
At last, she left in a daze.
After going downstairs, she looked up at Dominic’s apartment, took a deep breath, and murmured, “Honey, I won’t give up. I won’t give up even if I die. The three of us, as a family, in this life, the next life, and the life after that, will never be separated.”
Her eyes then hardened with a vicious glint. She took out her phone and dialed a number. “Come pick me up now. I’m at…”
After hanging up, she waited at the entrance of the residential complex.
Not long after, a car pulled up.
A man stepped out and said respectfully, “Ms. Sinclair.”
Isabella nodded. “Where is she?”
The man replied, “After she finished eating steak with Mr. Fleming, he sent her back to the law firm. She’s still there.”
“Good.” Isabella nodded again, got into the car, and said calmly, “Take me there now.”
Twenty minutes later, the car arrived at Skyline City Plaza.
Isabella led three men straight to Lydia’s law firm.

The door was unlocked.
She walked inside and said flatly, “Lock the door.”
At that moment, Lydia came out of her office, confusion on her face. “Are you here to consult
Before she could finish, she saw Isabella. Her expression changed, and fear surfaced. “It’s you?”
The door to the law firm clicked shut.
Isabella walked over and stared at her in silence.
Faced with Isabella and the three expressionless men, Lydia panicked. Her body trembled as she said, “Ms. Sinclair, I didn’t offend you, did I? What do you want…”
Isabella let out a cold laugh. “You got close to my husband. What’s your purpose?”
“N–No purpose…” Lydia answered hurriedly.
Isabella slapped her across the face and said icily, “No purpose? When my husband had no money, I never saw you anywhere near him. Now that he’s rich, you suddenly appear. Who do you think you’re fooling?”
Lydia covered her cheek. Realizing that fear would not help, she clenched her teeth and said, “He’s divorced. Don’t I have the right to pursue him?”
“He’s a married man, so of course you can’t pursue him. But that’s not the most important thing,” Isabella spat. “The real problem is that you don’t just want to pursue my husband. You have another motive. You’d better tell the truth.”
