She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 328

“Hester is such a conniving little tramp. The moment I left with the others, she sweet-talked my guy and managed to escape…”

“Are you all useless or what?”

“Hester’s nothing but a sly fox, and you fools still fell for her tricks! If she makes it back to the Sutton family and spills everything, we’re finished.”

Celine was seething with rage, though she kept her voice low. She covered her mouth with a trembling hand, practically hissing through clenched teeth.

Cliff understood all too well—Hester’s disappearance was a disaster for everyone involved. He was just as worried that she’d expose his feelings for Celine and his intentions toward Marshall.

He forced himself to keep his emotions in check and asked, “So, what’s the plan now?”

His real meaning was clear: Celine needed to put more people on this. With the Sutton family’s resources, finding one person shouldn’t be that hard.

Celine gradually regained her composure. Right now, the top priority was finding Hester—before anyone from the Sutton family caught wind of her whereabouts. She needed to go home and sound out her mother’s opinion, but her mother had already gone to Country H, which complicated things…

Thinking of this, Celine hurriedly said, “Keep searching on your end. If you find her, let me know immediately.”

“Of course, Celine. Don’t worry, I won’t let you down.”

Cliff wanted to slap himself. How could he have been so stupid, so quick to trust Hester’s lies? He knew she was up to no good, yet he still believed her. In the end, it was because he wanted Celine too much.

After hanging up, Celine drew a deep breath. Just then, Nick arrived and opened the car door for her.

“Miss Celine, I’m so sorry—I ran into a little trouble on the way and ended up a few minutes late. My apologies for keeping you waiting.”

Celine collected herself and offered him a faint smile. “It’s fine, I just got here myself.”

She climbed into the car, following Nick.

Meanwhile, Stella slung an arm around Sabrina’s shoulders. They’d both caught a glimpse of Celine’s outburst just moments before.

“She looked ready to explode. Are you sure you’ll be safe going home tonight? You could always come over to my place—your big sister will protect you!”

“Definitely. Let your stylist work their magic.”

“Now that’s an idea I can get behind…”

When Sabrina arrived back at the Sutton estate, the first thing she heard was the sound of things being hurled around upstairs.

She headed up, then settled into the lounge chair by the floor-to-ceiling window, closing her eyes and savoring the chaos. Watching Celine unravel, watching her lose control—Sabrina couldn’t be more pleased.

As for the rumors that had spread about the Sutton family’s summer scandals? That had been Sabrina’s doing, too.

Celine really thought she could dodge all of this. Dream on.

Soon enough, her so-called friends would abandon her one by one. She’d taste betrayal and isolation. And then would come the real torment.
