The other man, distracted by the chaos, gave Stella her opening. She moved with practiced precision, plunging a needle into his side.

With the last needle delivered, the black-clad assailants slumped to the ground, paralyzed and unable to move.

Neither Stella nor Frank dared pause for even a second. They set off at a sprint, desperate to find Sabrina and Shawn.

“Did you actually call the police? Why haven’t they shown up yet?” Stella asked anxiously as they ran.
