Almost before Hector had finished speaking, every thug in the warehouse grabbed whatever weapon they had on hand. Eyes filled with menace, they rushed at the four of them.

Just then, Stella shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos.

“Don’t you know you’re being streamed live to the entire internet right now?”

Hector froze, his eyes wide in shock.

“Turn that off! Now!” Hector roared, his voice cracking with rage. This was the last thing he’d expected. He couldn’t believe Sabrina, that conniving woman, had managed to pull this off. The worst part was, he had no idea where the camera was.

Suddenly, the wail of sirens echoed from outside.

Hector’s instincts kicked in—he stumbled backward, not out of fear of the police, but because he’d been outmaneuvered by this woman yet again. When his eyes met Sabrina’s, she wore that infuriating, mocking half-smile. It was as if she were saying, *“Hector, not only are you worthless, you’re a complete fool.”*

“Don’t move!” A SWAT team burst in, rifles raised.

Hector wasn’t stupid. With the whole world watching, he knew better than to lose his temper now. Though his jaw clenched with rage, he raised his hands in surrender.

He and Sabrina locked eyes—her gaze taunting, his burning with hatred.
