She's Too Busy Winning to Watch Him Cry novel Chapter 333

Meanwhile, at the Fairchild estate, Lyra Fairchild was packing a small suitcase.

Leo Chavez and Madeline Vance had invited her on a trip to see the lavender fields in bloom. Knowing they'd be spending a few nights away, she took her time carefully organizing her luggage.

At the same time, over at the Vance residence.

Maddie's bed was completely covered in clothes, a chaotic explosion of colorful dresses that clearly signaled a vacation was imminent. Sabrina Vance walked upstairs, catching sight of the mess, and asked curiously, "Where exactly are you going?"

"Heading out to see the lavender with Leo and Lyra."

Sabrina's eyes immediately lit up. "You made up with Lili?"

"Ages ago," Maddie replied casually, before lowering her voice in a serious tone. "But hey, make sure you don't call her by her special pet name anymore."

Sabrina looked completely baffled. "Wait, why?"

"Lyra had this childhood obsession where only Rowan was allowed to call her 'Lili'. Everyone else had to just call her Lyra. But honestly? Rowan never used it once, yet her family and friends always stuck to her old rule."

Hearing that, Sabrina immediately deflated. "Well, that's great. My rare ship is officially dead in the water."

...

Early the next morning, Caleb Fairchild's phone rang.

He answered it, instinctively straightening his posture. After listening to the voice on the other end, he immediately marched straight to Lyra's bedroom.

Lyra was doing some last-minute packing before leaving.

"Lyra, could you do me a favor and go on just one more blind date? I have a friend who is incredibly impressed by you. He specifically brought it up multiple times and really wants to meet you."

Lyra let out a helpless sigh. "Another blind date?"

She checked the time, offering a gentle reminder. "Caleb, I have to leave for the airport in a minute."
