Sorry for Your Loss, It's Me, I'm the Loss novel Chapter 874

As Yvonne happened to look back, she saw Bennett walking in from outside.

She saw him, and he was looking at her, a gentle smile gracing his lips, his deep, dark eyes warming instantly.

"Bennett, you're here," Cynthia said with a smile when she turned and saw him. She then teased, "You're such a busy man, we never see you around. But the moment Yvonne shows up, you come chasing after her. Are you afraid we'll bully your wife?"

Bennett simply smiled in response.

"You're just in time. You can try on your suits as well, then I won't have to make another trip just for you," Emma said, her smile growing even wider at the sight of her son.

"Alright," Bennett agreed readily.

Emma hadn't chosen as many outfits for Bennett as she had for Yvonne, but there were still nearly ten suits. A full range of different colors and styles was prepared.

Of course, Bennett didn't have the patience to try on so many. He picked out three or four that would complement Yvonne's chosen wedding gown and dresses.

Yvonne's gown was a simple, elegant style. Bennett changed into a black suit with a retro-inspired cut and design. With his tall, slender frame and the distinguished air of a soldier, he looked exceptional.

Standing next to Yvonne, the two of them were simply a breathtaking sight.

"Bennett and Yvonne are truly a match made in heaven," Cynthia praised without reservation.

Emma nodded in satisfaction.

Yvonne remained silent, but she didn't look well. Her smile seemed forced.

Bennett could tell she was feeling unwell again and said, "Since the outfits don't need any major alterations, we'll go get changed."

After changing back into her clothes, Yvonne rushed straight to the restroom.

His own mother had nearly died giving birth to him. Although modern medicine had drastically reduced maternal mortality rates, the risk wasn't zero.

If anything happened to Yvonne because of this child, Bennett knew he would hate himself to death.

But the baby was already growing inside her. If he were to say he didn't want it now, everyone would think he was insane. The Thompson family, from his grandfather down to Frank's family, would never agree.

"I'll take you home first," Bennett said, his warm hand gently stroking the top of her head.

"Okay," Yvonne nodded weakly.

Bennett swept her up into his arms and strode towards the exit.

Emma and Cynthia were waiting for them by the entrance. When Emma saw Bennett carrying Yvonne, her heart leaped into her throat.
