Chapter 149 The Blurred Truth
Estelle’s lips were inches away from Evan’s.
He dodged fast.
All the while, Sylvie had been staring at Estelle as if she had just met an alien.
Deep down, she was wondering how Estelle did it.
Catching it, Estelle huffed proudly. “You can’t do what I do. That’s the advantage of being young. Evan
will put up with a cute, proud girl. If you copy me, he’ll just find you annoying.”
It took Sylvie a second to realize Estelle had just called her old. Her face twisted, and she lunged to hit
Estelle.
Evan had to use all his strength to separate them and finally get both women to leave.
However, he knew that their beauty shone too brightly.
The scene they’d made would cause an uproar.
As expected, the Cortex Team called him a few seconds later, telling him that photos of his date with Estelle and Sylvie had been posted online.
His expression darkened. “Can we suppress those photos?”
It was all to protect them. He did not want them involved.
He also wanted to resolve his own problems by himself. There was no way he’d leech off of them.
The Cortex Team lived up to Ivana’s reputation. They moved immediately.
“Mr. Norwood, we’ve suppressed all posts containing your photos. A few went too viral for a full takedown, but we blurred faces in the remaining media.”
That made him heave a sigh of relief. “Thank you.”
Due to the Cortex Team’s meddling, people stopped sharing the photos and videos of Estelle and Sylvie walking by Evan’s side.
But some people had already saved the photos and videos and passed them around privately.
In small chat groups, rumors spread about two angelic women shopping with a mystery man.
Hazel was shocked at the post she saw.
“Aren’t these two the women who argued over the owner of Villa No. 1?”
Roxanne and Anya were also stunned.

Everyone living in the Nine Courts had seen Estelle and Sylvie fight back then.
They were awed by their beauty and sighed as they wondered just how handsome the man they were fighting over had to be.
In the blink of an eye, they were now seeing posts about the two women going shopping.
Hazel, Roxanne, and Anya guessed. ‘Then, the man they’re holding onto must be their man… the owner of Villa No. 1, right?’
Just as they thought that, they froze in surprise.
All this time, they had longed to pay a visit to the mysterious miracle doctor of Villa No. 1.
If they befriended that doctor, they could ask him to cure Zeke.
They were certain that the doctor would be more handsome and talented than anyone else in the world.
Now, they were looking at photos and videos of him.
This was the closest they had ever been to finding out his identity!
Hazel immediately asked, “Which of you can undo the blur on these photos and videos?”
The Cortex Team had processed every leaked photo and video. Estelle’s and Sylvie’s faces were still clear –but the man between them had been blurred until he looked like a censored shadow.
“I’ve learned a few tricks. Let me try,” Roxanne said.
Her fingers danced across the keyboard.
The man seen in the video steadily grew larger. The blurred-out sections of his figure became clearer by
the minute.
Hazel and Anya’s breathing turned heavy. Their palms grew slick, their throats tight.
‘What did the owner of Villa No. 1 look like?’ they thought.
Roxanne was equally nervous. Her fingers were trembling with every tap.
Her guess had to be right. The man two beauties fought over had to be young.
And his build… it looked strangely familiar. Like Evan’s…
Her fingers abruptly halted from her surprise at the thought.
“What is it, Roxanne?” Hazel and Anya asked at the same time.
Roxanne hesitated, then pointed at the screen. “Don’t you think… this man’s figure looks like Evan’s?”
