Stefan told him there was a banquet the following evening that he had to attend.

“A banquet? What banquet?”

Evan froze.

“It’s a very important dinner. I’ve invited a lot of relatives and friends, so Evan, you absolutely have to come! And don’t worry–it won’t be like last time. I promise.” 1

After arranging the invitations for the Solberg relatives, the couple moved on to notify members of the Leighton and Golden families.

They both knew that Belinda’s daughter was the stunning campus beauty of Silverton University, who had recently become the talk of the social circle.

If she got married, it would definitely cause a sensation.

“Well, it’s not official yet,” Belinda said, her smile widening. “But it’s practically settled.”

She leaned back confidently.

“The moment he gets divorced, I’ll have my daughter bring her ID and propose to him.”
