Drake looked down at the empty pool beneath them, now completely dry, then thought for a moment before speaking. “The cubs are still tiny. They dragged two grown men and all that water at once. They probably couldn’t have gone very far, right?”

Corvin said, “Near or far, it doesn’t matter. Kieran and Edric are in swim trunks, so wherever they land, it won’t be social suicide”
