Sebastian and Stephanie were led by the restaurant manager to the last private dining room. As they approached the door, Sebastian's stride suddenly halted.
He glanced back at the slightly ajar door of the neighboring dining room. It seemed it hadn't been closed properly, which is why he had just overheard a very familiar voice drifting through the gap.
"What's up, Silver Fox?" Stephanie inquired, her brows knitting in curiosity.
"It's nothing... Let's go in," Sebastian brushed off, his voice a mix of nonchalance and faint tension.
Stephanie followed his gaze, just as the door to the adjacent room was pulled open by a waiter. Instinctively, her eyes darted into the room, and she caught a glimpse of a familiar profile.
Now it was Sebastian’s turn to ask, "What's wrong?"
"Uh… I just saw someone I know."
"Yeah?"
"Let's talk inside."
Stephanie stepped into the room first, with Sebastian trailing behind her.
"I think I just saw Yolanda," she murmured once they were inside.
"Are you sure it was Yolanda?" Sebastian's brow furrowed slightly.
"Positive. I've met her a couple of times and have seen her on TV; I'd recognize her anywhere."
Without another word, Sebastian said, "You start ordering, I'm going to hit the restroom."
"Sure, what do you want? I can order for us both."
"Get whatever you like; I'm easy."
