BANG!
An object Kyle couldn't dent before finally received a dent from one of his strikes.
The way he was controlling his attacks had become incomparably complex.
His body moved in the strangest ways to achieve this effect.
In fact, the swings of Kyle's hammer were rather slow, almost a third as fast as they usually were.
And yet, despite the lack of speed, the force he unleashed was several times greater as if he only struck with his physical body.
Surprisingly, his current hammer even received several cracks from this strike.
This was the first time in a long while that he had managed to damage his hammer again.
'Do I have to create a stronger one?' Kyle thought as he looked at his hammer.
Naturally, Kyle hadn't created a hammer with all of his material understanding since stronger hammers tended to be heavier.
He could condense a harder and heavier one without any issues, but it would be harder to swing.
The next moment, Kyle looked back at the object.
It was just a big, stationary cube.
'All of this power is great, but I'm not going to fight stationary targets.'
Kyle knew the way force was calculated in this universe.
The weight of his hammer hadn't increased.
The speed had even dropped.
Yet, the force he unleashed was far greater.
'The way I'm moving my hammer increases its Energy weight, not its physical weight.'
Kyle thought back to the three Enchantments he had used as a Mortal.
The Metal Enchantment had increased his hammer's physical weight.
The Wind Enchantment had increased its speed.
And the Fire Enchantment had increased its Energy weight.
Back then, the Fire Enchantment had been seen as the strongest one since it was so hard to increase the Energy weight of an object.
'But now, I can increase the Energy weight of my hammer to an insane degree.'
Kyle took note of his Center.
The change had been gradual, but he had noticed something.
'My strikes are actually starting to put a strain on my Center.'
When Kyle had attacked in the past, he had only used his Biological Energy.
His Center had essentially just watched.
But now, every strike of his actually drew out a lot of Energy from his Center.
Energy could not be created or destroyed, and the additional Energy weight of Kyle's hammer had to come from somewhere.
Naturally, it came from his Center.
By now, the thing Kyle was chasing became clearer to him.
'I am incorporating my Center into my physical attacks. '
'When I used my Law of Meteor, I also increased the power of my attacks, but I essentially just used it to strike with its own force. My physical power didn't have that much of an impact.'
'Now, I am actually adding the Energy of my Center to my physical attacks.'
'My Law of Meteor was additive, while this new way of using my Energy is multiplicative.'
Kyle looked back at the dented object.
'I didn't notice it since my improvement is so gradual, but my offensive capabilities have actually reached crazy levels.'
'If I just consider my attack power, I have probably reached the level of a Level Four Complex Law while only using a Level 3.5 Complex Law.'
'However, there is something even more terrifying about this way of using my Energy.'
'It doesn't cannibalize my Complex Law. In fact, it incorporates with it seamlessly.'
'It's a multiplier on my multiplier.'
Kyle took a deep breath.
He had aimlessly swung his hammer for centuries, not getting a lot of benefit for his efforts.
But now, he was slowly seeing the results of his work.
'The potential is unreasonably high. I only know a Level 3.5 Law, but my offensive capabilities are already half-a-level higher.'
The only reason he even managed to hit it was that he knew the Law of Soul and Law of Mind, which improved his perception, planning, and reaction time.
Kyle kept hitting the mannequin, and the speed of his attacks was slowly increasing.
With time, the drain on his Center also returned, but it wasn't nearly as strong as usual.
He had only just started working on his speed, after all.
Time passed.
The date of the battle was coming closer.
Three years before the date of the battle, something happened.
Kyle reached the mannequin and tried to strike it as always.
As he readied his strike, his Energy moved in relative randomness, as always.
Yet, in the middle of the strike, Kyle's eyes widened, and his face turned white.
Just now, his Center had suddenly lost 80% of its contents!
The Energy in the room turned chaotic.
BANG!
Kyle's hammer exploded into pieces.
It didn't even hit anything!
It just randomly exploded!
The Energy in the surroundings interfered with itself, and a moment later, a small shockwave traveled across the room as everything returned to normal.
The mannequin just kept zooming around.
Meanwhile, Kyle just looked at the broken pieces of his hammer in shock.
'What the fuck was that?!'
'What just happened?!'
