A young man with red hair wearing a blue uniform nervously flew through the headquarters of his Organization.
He was just an Outer Disciple, and Outer Disciples didn't usually frequent these parts of their headquarters unless an Outer Elder sent them there.
As the young man flew through the sky, some stronger people looked at him with furrowed brows. What was a Transcendent Outer Disciple doing here?
After a couple more seconds of flying, a powerful older man flew up to the Outer Disciple, stopping him.
"What are you doing here?" the older man asked, wearing the uniform of an Inner Elder.
"I'm sorry," the Outer Disciple said, performing a quick, polite bow. "I know I'm not supposed to be here, but I have been tasked with delivering a message to one of the Core Elders."
The Inner Elder furrowed his brows. "Give me your message, and I will forward it."
The young man became nervous. Being in front of a Fused Primal was quite intimidating for him since he was just an Advanced Transcendent.
He felt really out of place, and all his instincts told him not to stand out too much.
Yet, as he remembered the promised reward, he found new strength.
So what if everyone believed him to be a weird guy who broke rules? He didn't have to stay here with all of the money he was promised!
"I'm sorry, but I have to deliver the message in person," the Outer Disciple said. "The person who gave me the message said that the Core Elder will want to hear the message himself."
The Inner Elder narrowed his eyes and activated his Momentum.
The Outer Disciple's face turned white. In his perception, the Inner Elder had turned into an almighty God who could destroy everything with a wave of his hand.
"Give me the message, and I will forward it," the Inner Elder spoke with authority. "You are not eligible to meet any of the Core Elders."
The Outer Disciple gritted his teeth as he tried to resist his terrified instincts.
"Y-You are p-putting yourself in-in danger," the Outer Disciple said through chittering teeth. "The-the Core Elder will be angry."
The Inner Elder looked at the Outer Disciple for a while longer.
Then, he pulled his Momentum back. "If you're that determined to deliver the message yourself, it's probably important," he commented. "Are you willing to put your future as a Disciple on the line to deliver this message?"
The Outer Disciple sighed and nodded. "Yes."
"Which Core Elder do you need?" the Inner Elder asked.
"Skysand Winterfire, " the Outer Disciple answered.
The Inner Elder furrowed his brows.
Skysand Winterfire was a relatively new member of their Sect, but she had already proven herself to be very capable and reliable.
It was only a matter of time before she joined upper management.
Disturbing her was probably a bad idea.
In the end, the Inner Elder took a deep breath and sent a message to Skysand Winterfire.
Moments later, a beautiful woman with dark blue hair flew up to the Outer Disciple and the Inner Elder.
The Inner Elder politely bowed in front of Skysand Winterfire, who just nodded at him.
"You may leave," she ordered.
The Inner Elder bowed again and wordlessly left.
Then, Skysand Winterfire looked at the Outer Disciple with a neutral expression. "Relay your message."
The Outer Disciple bowed politely before he became a bit red in the face.
"I-I'm sorry, but I can't use voice transmission over such a long distance, and I don't want to speak these words out loud," he said.
Skysand Winterfire furrowed her brows before flying closer to the Outer Disciple.
