"You wish to have Inner World's support in the Secondary Sector?" the representative asked.
"I'm planning on staying here until I advance, if you know what I mean," Kyle transmitted.
"I've refused to join the Contrast Empire, and they will try to get rid of me, but as long as the other big Organizations don't agree, they can't do a lot. I know that I am basically worthless when compared to such a big Organization as Inner World, but I still want to try. Even if I can't gain your support, I would also be fine with Inner World just staying neutral."
The representative stayed silent for a while. Kyle had already noticed that this representative was different from the one from the Contrast Empire.
The representative from the Contrast Empire constantly said that he couldn't make any important decisions.
Meanwhile, the representative from Inner World hadn't said that even once.
"We currently do not share any bonds," the representative said. "If you want Inner World's support, you need to offer something."
"What can I give you?" Kyle asked.
"Information," the representative said.
"Information about you, your Formation Arrays, your talents, and so on. By giving us information about yourself and your capabilities, you're making yourself vulnerable, which counts as a display of trust."
Kyle took a deep breath. Giving Inner World information about him could be risky.
If they knew how Kyle's Formation Arrays worked, they could identify their weaknesses and share that information with other Organizations.
"I don't really have a choice," Kyle thought.
"If the Contrast Empire wants to get rid of me, there would be nothing I could do. If the other powers agree, the Contrast Empire could ban me from the Secondary Sector, which means I would have to leave via Teleportation Formation Array, which means unveiling my true identity."
"I need their support."
"Fine," Kyle said. "I will not tell you about everything, but I will tell you a lot."
The representative nodded. "Based on how much you tell us, I can promise you a certain level of protection."
Kyle sighed before he transmitted a huge load of information to the representative.
When the representative received all the information, his brows rose. There were a couple of surprising things.
First of all, Azure Comet didn't have a Space Affinity, but his insights into the Laws of Space were about as deep as the insights a Crusher Inner Disciple of Inner World would have.
The next surprising thing was that Azure Comet had only used a basic guide and an advanced guide to attain his current mastery of Formation Arrays.
However, the most surprising part was that Azure Comet hadn't spent much time on Formation Arrays.
Based on the information, Azure Comet didn't even see Formation Arrays as his primary focus. He was more of a fighter than a scholar.
After reviewing the information, the representative looked back at Kyle. "What you have told me is different from what we had assumed your past to be. This changes some things. If you can swear an oath that everything you told me is the truth, Inner World is willing to recruit you as an Inner Disciple. We will also support you in the Secondary Sector."
Kyle became a bit uncertain. Earlier, he had used the excuse that their offer wasn't good enough, but that excuse wouldn't work anymore.
"Seems like I need to take another risk," Kyle thought.
"While I have not lied about my history, I have lied about something else previously," Kyle said. "The reason why I refused your offer earlier wasn't that it wasn't good enough but because I'm already a member of another Higher Supreme Organization."
"Which one?" he asked.
"This is new information, and it's of importance. We must know which one."
"The Array of Stars," Kyle answered.
The representative glanced at the representative from the Array of Stars before looking back at Kyle. "Why the secrecy? Unveiling your identity would solve all of your problems."
Kyle wasn't sure how to word it. If he directly told the representative about his status as a criminal, technically, the representative would be forced to attack Kyle, assuming he was a citizen of the Contrast Empire.
Azure Comet had another identity, and that other identity was associated with the Array of Stars and was the target of the Contrast Empire.
"To come to an agreement," the representative answered.
"The Array of Stars offers all kinds of services. One of these services is purchasing outstanding Seekers."
"Inner World will purchase you, assuming you agree. The person in question also has to agree to the trade."
Kyle took a deep breath.
He knew that the Array of Stars earned a lot of money by selling their trained Seekers, but he had never really come into contact with that part.
There was an actual possibility that he might change Organizations.
"Could you secure my place in the Secondary Sector?" Kyle asked.
"Among other things," the representative said.
"We can also just give you a sufficiently advanced Aura Concealing Formation Array. The Contrast Empire might make a big deal out of the Array of Stars helping someone like you, but they will act like they haven't seen anything if Inner World does it."
"Would you agree if the Array of Stars sells you to us?"
Kyle took a deep breath.
