Strongest Hammer God novel Chapter 934

Kyle walked to the gate of the village.

"Halt! State your business!" one of the two guards ordered with a strict tone.

Kyle looked at the guard with uncertainty. He had no idea what to do. The guard was a mere Mortal. Kyle could just teleport past him or keep on walking. There was nothing the guard could do.

However, he was supposed to be a Mortal himself. Mortals couldn't teleport or fly.

Kyle's mind came up with countless plans and phrases within the blink of an eye, but a Mortal's mind wasn't supposed to be this fast.

Yet, he already knew how to convince the Mortal just by looking at him. The Energy around the guard was so simple and clear that Kyle could essentially see through his entire personality and past in an instant.

But he wasn't supposed to know these things.

So, what was he supposed to do?

"I don't know," Kyle answered after an eternity of thinking. Yet, what had felt like an eternity to him had just been 0.1 seconds in reality. His answer essentially arrived just a tiny moment after the guard had finished speaking.

The guard furrowed his brows and called the other guard over.

"This is a random inspection," the guard said as the second guard approached Kyle. "Do not resist."

Realizing that he had answered too quickly, Kyle waited for two seconds before answering. "Okay."

The guard walked over and moved his hand through all of Kyle's pockets, not finding anything. He didn't even own a single thing aside from his clothes.

"Why are you here?" the first guard asked.

Kyle's mind went through countless arguments and reasons.

"I want to live," he replied.

"You want to live?" the first guard repeated with furrowed brows. "What do you mean by that?"

"I just want to live," Kyle answered. "I want to experience life. I came to this village to experience life."

The first guard looked at the second guard, who just looked back with a raised brow.

The two of them looked back at the stranger, and Kyle could basically read their minds just by looking at their Energy. He tried to ignore the Energy around them, but it wasn't so simple. It was like seeing a red wall while trying to pretend that one didn't see a red wall.

Kyle could tell that he had made a bad impression on them as soon as they had seen him. The bad impression didn't have any apparent cause. It was just there.

However, Kyle knew the cause.

'Despite suppressing my True Sin Aura, their instincts can still sense that I'm not a good person. I can fool their consciousnesses but not their instincts.'

"You may pass," the first guard said. "If you cause any trouble, we will cause you trouble, got it?"

Kyle nodded. "I understand."

The first guard motioned for Kyle to enter the village. They still felt a weird vibe coming from Kyle, but they couldn't deny his entrance just because of a vibe. π‘“π“‡π˜¦β„―π˜Έπ˜¦π‘π“ƒπ‘œπ˜·β„―π‘™.π‘π‘œπ“‚

Kyle walked into the village and aimlessly roamed around, not knowing what to do.

His mortal body told him that he was supposed to find food and water, but he didn't know how he was supposed to acquire food and water without any belongings.

He stopped near a couple of stalls that sold food and water.

"Are you going to buy something or are you just looking?" an old lady behind one of the stalls asked with a mildly annoyed tone.

"I don't know," Kyle answered. "I'm hungry, but I don't have any money."

The old lady looked at Kyle with an annoyed expression. "Then go get some money," she answered.

"How?" Kyle asked.

"Your kind always finds a way," she said with a snort.

"My kind?" Kyle asked.

"You heard me, your kind," she repeated. "The guards are keeping an eye on you for good reason! If you have money, we can trade. If you don't, go away."

Of course, Kyle knew what she meant. He already knew how this entire village worked and what everyone did. However, he was trying to act like he didn't know all of this.
